Unbelievably bad work done and then was told they couldn't do anything about it. I know what you're thinking, this guy is just super negative and takes his anger out on Google reviews. I'm really a chill guy but my god this is abismal. Maybe they are good for others. Maybe they arent. All I'm saying is it went south real bad and they didn't even care.

Came with a simple white dress for an engagement party that was a rush job, gave it to her Tuesday and needed it back by Saturday. To her credit, she assured us that she could have it back to us in that time, no problem. The dress had a really pretty, unusual banded hemline, but needed to be shortened. A band needed to be sewn across the hemline, and then banded a second time. We knew that was a bit of a tough thing to replicate since my mother used to sew a lot (which was part of why the dress was as expensive as it was). We felt the price we paid was fair for the rush and the difficulty of the hemline. However, when we picked it up, the hemline hadn't been replicated at all, she took a shortcut and just cut it off, then folded it back. When we questioned her about it, she first insisted that it was the same (it clearly wasn't) then said she hadn't noticed it until last minute. But either way, the price we paid to have that hemline changed beyond repair, with no offer of a discount after we noticed what she obviously was hoping we wouldn't, wasn't right. I will never go back to this seamstress (she is obviously NOT a real tailor) again, especially for something as special as the dress for my engagement party.
