I had three pairs of new track pants hemmed. The price was reasonable at approx $50 for all of them and it took about a week. When I came to pick them up I thought they might be a little short. So I mentioned this to the lady that was working there. She immediately got very annoyed at me for saying this. I asked her if I could go home and try them on with the usual shoes that I wear things like that with and asked if she would lengthen them if they were in fact too short. She didn't like this idea and became argumentative and obviously annoyed with me. The quality of the work was just fine. I was incredibly disappointed with her demeanour and lack of customer service. I feel that for this price her final product should be as the customer requests (within reason, of course). I won't return again as there are many other tailors in Victoria that offer the same service.

Wasn't happy with the experience, never got a phone call to tell me my alterations were done, and they had to be re done because it didn't even look like anything had been fixed! Unfriendly and poor customer service. although, in the end, the alterations did come out nicely. Will not return due to the disappointing service.

Not very good work, buttons didn't line up with their holes properly. Work took a long time and was also on the expensive side, I wouldn't return/

Though I think her unfriendliness is a cultural thing, her prices are where she loses stars. I brought a dress in that needed a few inches of hemming and brought in about 4 inches. She quoted me $140!! I called around and got it done by Tetyana's on Fort St where she quoted me $70. Much better.

Stitches were not lined up and edges were not square. Stitches were also blatantly not hidden. You could see all the poor quality stitch work done; very disappointing. This is all in spite of the fat that she used the a different material on half of the piece, and there was no Velcro sewed on as we had discussed and agreed upon. Don’t expect great quality.

Took my 2 pairs of shorts to Mary's to have zippers replaced and found out that i have to pay for services BEFORE job is done. I have a service business as well and would never tell my customers to give me money before i do the work. Wouldn't be in business that long if i did. Bad way of doing business. Would not recommend or return to this business.

Surprisingly expensive. The shirt alteration was not very precise; it was slightly uneven and had small creases sewn into it.

Had a terrible first experience. I used the to have my grad dress tailored. Went in, gave them the dress, had my measuring done, and they said they will have it ready in 3 weeks (they did give me an actual date). This date came around and I came in, they hadn’t even started, said that it will be done tomorrow, did not say sorry at all. I went home and an hour later got a call saying they lost my measurements, had to go back all the way and get those done again, no sorries about that either. When I finally got my dress, the arms weren’t even tailored, and there was a stain on the back of this new ordered dress. They weren’t necessarily rude, but very unprofessional

I had a custom teddy bear that I asked her to sew. She charged a low price, was helpful, and did a really great and fast job. She said the job ended up being extra time consuming but she was glad I was happy. To all the reviews about customer service, she's moreso straight forward. I didn't find her rude at all.

I've never taken the time to write a review anywhere before but the service here is so terrible I had to. Brought in an expensive dress for an event for her to just do a simple hem on, which she charged a lot for. It ended up looking like a 7 year olds first project in sewing class. When I told her how disatisfied I was with it she responded "that's fine". If it was possible to give her business less than one star I would :)

I took a suit in to be tailored. Everything was done on time and looked great. The price was reasonable and came in less than another quote. Cant ask for much more than that
