Went in and met with Sterling. Picked out a perfect suit that was exactly what I was describing. Had to get the pants tailored. Was ready for pickup the following day. Easiest suit shopping experiance of my life. I have purchased previous suits elsewhere but non comared to the experiance I had with Mr. Derks.

Mr. Derks is a great place to get a suit and they have amazing staff that go above and beyond. My boyfriend went in there after trying numerous attempts to find a suit. (We had a hard time finding a suit based on his build). When we went to mr. derks we found a fabulous European suit in under 10 min. Their staff are super knowledgeable and friendly! I don’t often leave reviews but this experience begs to have one included. I made a recent purchase and was uncertain of my sizing, and not overly confident about an international transaction. After contacting the store, I received a quick return call and the staff took their time to text me photos of the item to help me determine fit. Additionally, they were sure to include a discount code for my first purchase and promised to mail out the item “right away.” Not only am I ecstatic with the purchase, and extremely pleased with my purchase, the customer service was outstanding. I reached back out prior to my item arriving asking for clearer pictures and they had no problem obliging. To top it off, the item arrived WELL in advance of the shipping date they gave which was originally one week or so. I am very pleased and will be doing business with this shop again. Kudos to the staff for running such an excellent business.

Mr. Derk does a mix of Italian, Swedish, and other European suiting labels with a mix of prices that matched my student lifestyle with plenty of more luxurious product available should you want it. When you walk in you can tell pretty quickly that you're dealing with next level fashion. Tagliatore is one of my favorite brands, and these guys are the only ones in town to carry them. Alongside the great customer service I'll be returning for sure.

I visited Mr. Derk a few weeks ago looking for a suit to wear to a friend's wedding. I was initially apprehensive as a boutique men's store seemed a bit daunting for someone with a budgetary constraint. However, upon the urging of a friend and a quick call to the store, I ran with it. I even went in grungy work clothes. • The salesman (Brandon) was friendly, accommodating and confident. I was treated with the same level of patience and respect that I would expect from a close friend. • I was encouraged to try on several suits, and care was taken to point out notable details until we zero'd in on the perfect look. The price satisfied all my expectations. • I was given a thorough education on the nature of suits and a breakdown of their art and manufacture. In 30 minutes, I learned more about suits than an entire lifetime of reading magazines and retail shopping experiences combined. • They were able to rush my modifications well beyond the standard deadlines. All in all, one of the best retail experiences I have had the pleasure of participating in. Thank you, Mr. Derk, for running a tight business with a flawless, customer-first sensibility.

Dan provides incredible service! I had the suit and shoes, but needed a shirt, tie, and pocket square for my wedding. He was more than happy to work with the pieces I already had and custom ordered the tie and square to be cut from the same material (that also matched my fiancé's wedding dress). Amazing service and great selection of Men’s suits. Sterling (owner) and Mohamed are so knowledgeable and helpful. Their service is top notch compared to most suit shops in Edmonton such as Eddie’s or Harry Rosen. The owner and his staff take great interest in their work and the service that they offer. More importantly, Sterling is very skilled in taking the right measurements to make alterations to your new suits and he has a great tailor. No matter how great your suit is, if you don’t get those measurements and alterations done right, the suit is useless. Highly recommended!

Mr. Derks has not disappointed and has always exceeded my expectations. Alterations have always been completed before the agreed upon date. Shopping for clothes has never been enjoyable for me, my shoulders and body type don’t fit out of the box clothes. My previous suits have been tailored, but were ill fitting and baggy. I started to think that I would never find a nice suit that was properly tailored for me. My first experience at Derks was a few months after the COVID pandemic began. Min helped me find the perfect suit, and get it fitted in under a half hour….. The tailoring is spot on, and the suit fits perfectly!! Fast forward to this week, I needed a new dress shirt and dress shoes. Again I was in and out in under a half hour with exactly I was looking for. I picked up my shirt a few days ago and Min knocked it out of the park again!!
