I would highly discourage anyone from using the tailoring services at this site. I took one of my favourite summer dresses in for a straightforward zipper replacement. The work I got back was shoddy and unprofessional. The zipper was hidden, but is now visible and crooked. There appears to be a burn mark in the fabric and there is an unexplained amount of hand-stitching securing the top, some of which is visible. It's a mess. For $25, I am very, very disappointed and will have to take the dress elsewhere to be fixed properly.

Went in for a hem. She insisted straps needed tightening. I resisted. She said she would just do a couple small stitches- maybe a cm at most. I got the dress back - the hem ALONE came to $80, the straps were shortened by more than 2”. The straps were uneven and she did not even hem the LINING! It fell 4” below the hem she put in it. She was also late getting the alterations done and did not call to let me know so I sat around with my screaming toddler for an hour while she ruined the dress, charged me a fortune and did not once apologize. I left in tears.

The owner Ling is very talented and kind - has been there for years with many loyal returning customers like myself. I always go to her for any of the alterations I can't do myself and have always been happy. I highly recommend bayside to my friends. Don't believe any of the bad reviews!
