I could have not found a better and more trusting place to have my wedding dress fixed. Shae did a phenomenal job, she knows her trade and has a eye for exactly what the fabric needs to do to fit like a glove. I was worried the fabric on my dress was going to be cheap and hard to work with since I could not afford a thousand dollar designer dress, but she acted like it was no different then the rest of the nice dresses hanging next to mine. Amazing! I am relatively short so I have to get most of my clothes adjusted so they fit like I like them. I ran into them by coincidence and decided to take the chance as you do with tailors, barbers and such... let me tell you it’s totally worth it, the owner is a lovey lady and super friendly took my measures and was super helpful I also received the pieces super early compared to others (I brought them 3 pants and three shirts). A bit pricey so I wished they had student discount but not a huge deal! I WILL be going back and I’ll HIGHLY recommend them!!

Absolutely amazing! Tallgrass was recommended to me by the bridal shop I bought my wedding dress from. I drove 2 hours to come to this shop after reading reviews on numerous seamstresses. I ended up choosing a multi-point French bustle, which looked much better than the American or single point French bustle. I didn't realize it at the time, but apparently Tallgrass is one of the only seamstresses in OK that does multi-point bustles. When I went to pick up my dress, there was one thing that didn't quite look right when I put it on. On the spot, Shae kept correcting it until it was perfect (even though they closed soon!). I would absolutely recommend Tallgrass to any bride.

Tallgrass Tailor knocked it out of the park, and exceeded expectations on a short timeline. I searched google with the hopes of finding something. Fortunately, Tallgrass was the first hit. I clicked on the link and was pleasantly surprised to see that they take appointments AND you can schedule them online. So I brought my suit in and was instantly impressed with how clean the shop is and how friendly everyone was. My tailor was Shae. She’s very knowledgeable and super friendly! She was able to get my measurements very quickly. After she took my measurements she told me it should be ready sometime the same week. The very next day I received a text saying that my pants were ready. I really liked the communication and how quickly they were able to get the job done. They were very friendly and my pants look and fit great. I would highly recommend them. I’m very impressed with this place. I will definitely be back.

Bride had an appointment to get wedding dress tailored today. She talked to a girl on the phone earlier this week and was scheduled for today at 11. She received many texts to confirm appointment. We showed up 5 minutes prior to appointment and the door is locked and lights are off. The shop is closed with a sign on the door saying they’re closed for training. Knocked on the door. Called. Sent an email. No responses. The whole family waited outside for 25 minutes. Obviously they never double checked their books to make sure nobody was scheduled. Waste of time, super disappointing, and very unprofessional. Do not recommend. Update - we are extremely happy they have reached out to the bride and are getting her in tomorrow to tailor her dress and make the situation right. Will update my review again after her appointment! Update - They we’re very apologetic. Super fast, efficient, & kind. Would’ve got a 5 star if it wasn’t for the mess up but we appreciate them getting her in quickly and fixing the issue to the best of their ability. I’m sure her dress will turn out perfect.

Shae and Mary were very attentive and cared what you needed to have done. My first time using this company and was very impressed with their professionalism and attitude on correcting shoulder divots on a sports coat. I do recommend reading Shae's story " The Little Polish Tailor: From Auschwitz to Oklahoma ". It will give you a good idea what I mean on attentive, care, professionalism and attitude. The most important lesson I loved about the story and she figured it out, that the only way your going to learn is by getting in their and doing it yourself. You can only imagine what Sherman Ray had seen and the pressures he faced while performing his work "If you have a skill, you'll survive". How true even to this day. You will not be disappointed with any of these ladies. The only people I will let tailor my clothes and the drive to them from Collinsville is well worth it. Great job ladies!
