I've taken 2 bridesmaid dresses and now my bridal gown to Yen and I'll never go anywhere else. I 1000% trust her and am so happy I found a high-quality, go-to tailor! Not only does she produce amazing quality work, but she's also fast while being dedicated to perfection (and she's also just an all-around lovely human). My wedding dress needed a really technical alteration for the bust and if I took it anywhere else, I doubt they would've done as excellent a job as Yen! She's my girl and I tell anyone who needs an alteration to go to here if they want their garments done right.

This was my first time actually getting alterations done professionally, as my suit needed major work. The owner was very sweet, and was great at communicating so that you got exactly what you wanted. Don't know if she costs more or less than other places, but she did execute everything she said she would, and in a timely manner. All in all, felt great in my suit for the wedding I was in.

I lost a lot of weight, and to resize the very good quality suit I brought to Yen required some major work. She did a superb job of both understanding, fashion-wise, how it SHOULD look, and then making it look that way. Yen's work is not cheap, but I believe top-notch craftsmanship warrants a premium price. I plan to bring more of my suits to her in the very near future.

Yen is ace! Yes, she's more expensive than the average tailor, BUT, her work is superior to the average tailor! Keep in mind you get what you pay for. Risk saving a few bucks to have someone mess up a nice suit/dress to pay more somewhere else to have it fixed... just go here and get it done right the first time! Had a Canali suit done, hemmed, rise, waist, etc completed, suit is FLAWLESS and the stitching looks like it came from the factory. She is so polite. She sets the expectation of cost AT consultation! Don't like it? She is still polite and lets you know why she charges a little more. Don't cheep out on your alteration. Get it done right the first time. I will be taking ALL my suits in to have her make corrections/alterations/adjustments in the future. Big city talent in a small town region. Spend the money and look great, go elsewhere and you're only cheating yourself. Cheers

Went to this place to get a dress length cut not even hemmed and she wanted to charge me $150. Then thought I would try again with another bridesmaid dress and she tried to charge me $230 plus tax and a $15 fee to expedite it.

I needed pants hemmed quickly for my job. 5 pairs had to be finished in 5 days. Some places that can take 1-2 weeks. Breneman's Tailoring did them for me in 4 days. Super accommodating. Super professional. The price was competitive and the fee for an accelerated job wasn't just reasonable, it was flat out generous! Conveniently placed right in the mall. A real life saver! I would recommend in a heart beat.

Took a jacket to get sleeves hemmed because they were to long for my wife she Wanted $80.00 . I passed, got it do elsewhere for $ 30.00 . Love her or not , seems to be no inbetween. I will pass. Can not comment on work, just price. Located inside park city center. Large free parking area with handicap parking and entrance with handicap bathroom and stalls. Wheelchair accessible.

This woman is out of her mind! I can't speak to whether or not she does good work because I didn't let her work on my dress. She wanted to charge me over $500 to alter my bridesmaids dress. My dress was less than $200. Out of her mind!

Ms. Breneman did fantastic work in tailoring my suits. I was very impressed with her quality of work and attention to detail. I brought in a suit with functioning sleeve buttons. She took great care in lining up the sleeves when they were hemmed. She noticed the slim fit pants were a bit tight for me and let them out in the back. I ended up bringing the other pants in the same style for the same fix. And, she hemmed the pant leg for a single break, explaining the pros/cons between single break and no break. I thought her prices were fair, but a general reminder for men buying suits...buy the suit cheap because tailoring may be costly, depending on what you have done. She does accept check for partial payment when dropping off, but I would just remember that cash is king with her - no credit/debit. I always called ahead so I knew she was ready and not too busy to see me. If I need more tailoring I’ll be paying her a visit again!

I took my $99 prom dress to get hemmed and slight alterations to the top. She charged over $400 to alter it and $200 to cut a few inches off of the bottom. Luckily, I called somewhere else and got the same work done for under $100 dollars. She is also extremely unprofessional and said that I would fall if I didn't have the bottom of the dress hemmed.

I had a dress that another seamstress didn't do properly and I wanted to take it back to her but she was unfortunately hospitalized and was not working. I found Brenemans and went there. She did not fix my dress properly and charged me $85!!!!! ($70 for the dress and $15 for an expedited service charge). I came back in and she said she could not fix it anymore because she would not touch the work of the other lady and would only alter the front and back. She said she told me that up front, which is not true. Why would anyone agree to only have part of dress altered???? I asked her repeatedly to just make the dres right and she refused - she said she would not alter the sides. So I asked her for a refund and then she told me I could report her to the BBB, which is what I did. DONT GO THERE!!!!! (Also, I had the same dress in a different color and found another tailor who did it right the first time for $35!!!!!!)

Yen is an incredible seamstress! I would trust her with all of my alterations, big or small! I purchased a bridesmaid dress that required significant difficult alterations (the material was a thick velvet). Yen's alterations were flawlessly executed, she basically had to create a new dress and take in the seams everywhere, but the dress looked better than I could have imagined and fit me like a glove. She was so fast and precise, the dress finished before the week was over. She is an incredibly gifted seamstress, and a woman of integrity and character. I would recommend Breneman's Tailoring and Alterations to anyone needing alterations in the Lancaster, PA area. I cannot say enough good things, you will be in good hands! Impeccable craftsmanship well worth the money!! Most of the reviews are right your local tailor can hem a pair of pants for less money but do they have the skills to completely reposition your suit jackets collar and perfectly put it back together. You absolutely get what you pay for. Upfront honest prices before she will even fit you.

Yen Breneman is a rare find if you are searching for a professional to do your alterations. Not only is she very skillful; she is also knowledgeable about current fashion which is important when you want an updated look to your clothes. Her prices might seem high (although they are much less than other cities in which I have lived) but she is worth every penny. She gets 5 gold stars in my book.

My fiance made an appointment with this lady and she didn't even show up. The door was locked with a sign saying she'd be back in an hour. If she didn't keep track of appointments that well, then I can't imagine how far behind she is on her dresses. Don't bother.

Her prices may seem high, though I don't have a lot to compare her to and each time I've been in I've requested very custom things done, but I feel it's worth it. Yen is extremely friendly, she will go into detail about what she does and why she is charging what she is. I will continue to go to Breneman's as I know I'll get superb results and a nice conversation.

If you need any alterations done, Yen is your girl. She’s very sweet and knows exactly what needs to be done with your piece. She completes her tasks in a timely manner! My bridesmaid dress needed some length off along with the straps to be shortened. I picked my dress up a week later with the alterations sufficiently complete. Overall, great experience!

Can’t speak for how well she does her tailoring but her prices are absolutely ridiculous. I brought 3 pairs of men’s uniforms to be tailored and she wanted to charge me close to $700 to have them all done. I’ve never heard of tailoring costing that much ever, through out all of my years in the military. Took them elsewhere into Lancaster city and had them professionally done for $140.
