I have quite a bit of clothes that I always like to get fitted. I have been taking all of my alterations to Yana and i have never had an issues with any of my alterations. Not once! I can truly say i can trust her with any piece of clothing I own. She is very pleasant to deal with and truly takes pride in her work. The way my clothes looks is a big deal for me, so I was worried that being abroad I won’t be able to find a place where I can get the level of the service I’m used to. Thanks god I googled this place, all personal was fantastic, Yana is energetic and positive, she altered my jeans exactly as I’ve seen how it in my head! It was nice to chat with her as well. Yana is an amazing seamstress! She has a vast knowledge of sewing! She has the expertise to follow your visions and create exactly what you want! She also knows when something can’t be done and will suggest another way that will be better and look a lot more professional! We have gone to Yana twice to create our visions for dance costumes for my daughter! Both time it has exceeded our expectations! My daughters costumes looks just has good as any professional dancer! Thank you Yana for helping us succeed in the costumes and we will definitely be back again for all our sewing needs! I have read some of these not so nice reviews on here about price and quality! First may I say the price that she charges is comparable if not better than anyone else’s! Her work is at a higher quality and more professional than most! For beads that fall off store bought dresses, that is to be expected! Dresses with beads that are factory made are all attached to each other and if you open a seam to take in or let out the beads are going to fall off! Buyer beware... so if you don’t buy a garment that fits properly and expect it to be repaired with no beads falling off then you don’t know anything about sewing or how garments are made at the factory level! In order to fix anything with beading etc it is going to cost money because it is very time consuming to do so! we have had lots of costumes that needed altering that had beads/rhinestones and most seamstresses in the city wouldn’t even take the job! None except Yana that we have found would work with fringe! Yana is a no nonsense person who is more interested in getting the job done then to make small talk with you! We appreciate her for her professionalism and her knowledge! You originally came to her to have a job done so get over it! She is a wonderful person who loves what she does and does it professionally!

We trusted you with my dress in your hands. In no way is it our problem, or the store we bought it at, that the beads can be fallen off with the slightest touch. No matter how the dress is made, it should not be given it back in that condition, and I most certainly shouldn’t be charged to fix your own mistake? There are NO signs of fallen off beads in my home where the dress was stored after it was brought to you. We expected my dress to be returned in the exact condition it was given to you in. You told us the beading can be fixed in one hour, it was not “labour intensive” and it most certainly did not take several hours. You charged $35 for the beads to be sewn back on, that were fallen off in YOUR care. As if enough money wasn’t spent here in the first place. Terrible service.

I had my daughters graduation dress altered here. The expense of alterations was ridiculous, and the dress came back with a botched hem and bead work missing. While they offered to repair the hemline, the bead work would be extra. I told her that if I drop something off, you'd expect they would return in the same condition, and, or make it right. Not this place! She went on and on yelling, and justifying why I should pay more money to fix their mistake. Over explaining her reasons, just confirms to me she knew she was in the wrong. I paid her the extra money - told her I'd never be back and would write her a lovely review. She didn't seem concerned about it. Extremely hostile woman. If this review stops even 1 person from going to her, and having to go through this, then I'm happy. Hope the additional $35 charge was worth it Yana - Good on you!
