Lovely lady and great service! Me and my friends ordered matching dresses from China (expensive ones tho) and they came 3 sizes bigger than what we ordered...Total disaster! we thought they were unfixable but she made them look beautiful and did it with a very short notice, so we could wear them to the event! We are very happy with the quality of the service here!

Great experience! I came in late in the evening and my coat was fixed right there on the spot without me having to come back - it was done in 5 min. Cute little workshop, knowledgeable, skilled and very nice and friendly owner. Very reasonable prices too! I am glad I discovered this place :)

Galia is a professional tailor to the level you would need. She could do small alterations at very affordable price and special work on your bridal stuff, or she can create a special costume for an event. If you think something can't be done, you should call Galia!

This lady is a joke. First she assumes that you can not afford her services then she complains she hasnt had a day off in 20 days. She is rude and unwilling to service you if you want something hand made. She says does both alterations and design when really she only does alterations. Not to mention if you want something hand made she does not have any fabric samples. She expects to drag you all over the city to find fabric. What would I be paying you for lady!!!!! Get real. You are supposed to be the professional thats getting paid. Did I mention rude??????? Also there is a language barrier. She does not understand English very well. Beware. Dont waster your time.

I was in Chicago for less than 24 hrs. I was in a panic because I was starting a new job and my uniform jacket that I had just received was in need of some work. Galia was amazing. I dropped off my jacket just before closing and she reassured me it would be ready by noon the following day. As promised, the jacket was ready and fixed by noon the next day! Nice lady who was clearly very experienced. I took my prom dress there to have it hemmed a bit shorter for 2 layers. I’m young and I went by myself which might have been the reason she charged me $55 dollars which I have now learned is extremely pricey! My wallet and I feel a little hurt that she took advantage of us because I’ve never done this before and went by myself. Other than that, she was very professional, and I felt like my dress was in good hands. Overall, quality alterations but not for first timers.

I love Galia's tailoring studio, she can make you a fashion pro. Galia use to work as a costume designer for theater companies too; her creativity and talent are endless. She can create any thing for you- masks and costumes, and even make a fashion accent for a shoe. Don't hesitate to give her a call- you will be well treated and you will look great.
