I got my suit altered and it was the easiest thing to do, Rita was so kind , helpful and knew exactly what to do. I'm 19 and know nothing about it but she told me alot of information suits and how it should look . Rita had it done in a couple days and charge a really good price in my opinion. I highly recommend Rita she was amazing .

I have a positive and negative review to say, She was a very sweet and nice and very pleasant lady she came to my house as I rely on public transit so those are my positive comments.... I was a brides maid for my cousins wedding back in November 2019 and however the quality of alterations were just not good, she did not follow instructions as to the back of the dress was not supposed to be hemmed at all as the bride wanted a 5-6 inch train and my train was about 7-8inches long so she told me she was only going to hem 1-2inches max to give that 5-6inch train. Unfortunately that didn't happen she hemmed like 5-6inches and left me with a 2-3 inch train instead of the 5-6inch train like all the other brides maids.... also the straps of the dress were supposed to criss cross my back and when she went to make a hook to strap my straps she completely did that wrong and made it and shortened my straps and made it go shoulder to shoulder so everytime for the fitting i thought she had it crossing my back as she was the one to do up the dress for me as I couldn't do it up myself only to find out the day of the wedding a couple hours before the wedding started, after someone trying to hook up my straps into the hooks she made to criss cross looked really bad so I had to have it shoulder to shoulder I paid a lot of money on the dress the price of Alterations was very decent however the quality was wrong and the dress didn't look like it was supposed to look like in the process I'm being very honest writing this is because this was my own personal experience and will make this review for anybody else that is wanting service I would reccomend her service as she is a very sweet and nice lady and she will come to you if you need her to and her fees are very fair however to be honest I myself don't think I would use her again just because my 1st and only experience and the dress just wasn't what it was supposed to be. Please don't take personally I'm just simply sharing my positive and negative opinions on my experience thank you. ????

I am so happy I found Rita my Granddaughter likes to use my dish cloths for doll blankets so I went to fabric land bought some frozen an peppa pig material came home googled seamstress in mission and Rita came up .I called her she told me to bring the material up to her and she would sew up some blankets ..Well she did a amazing job on the blankets they are exactly what I wanted and my Granddaughter is gonna love them .Thankyou so much Rita they are Beautiful. And she had them done the next day.Iwould highly recommended Rita For your Sewing needs as I will be using her again

Rita is fantastic. She literally does anything, from hemming and zippers right on up to making entire blazers and trenchcoats. She is also really good at making means shirts. She has tons of experience, is incredibly easy to work with, and very helpful. She has good tips, suggestions, and ideas if you have any projects you are wanting to have produced. And, she has a shop all decked out to take on the biggest projects including sewing machines, an industrial machine, steamer bag, serge etc. One stop shopping!

AAA+ experience. I would highly recommend Rita to anyone. She is an amazing lady! Very kind, professional and most skilled. Rita is very straight forward and explains what she can do and what it is going to look like. I really appreciate her approach as it avoids any confusion or misunderstandings! I brought in 3 oversized vintage blazers and a bathing suit. One blazer and the bathing suit is already done. 2 to go. I am VERY happy with her work. Fits perfect now.The blazer was XXL and is now L. It had to be taken in everywhere! Rita does not shy away from a challenge and her fees are most/beyond reasonable. I am fairly new to Abbotsford/Mission and asked Rita if she could recomend a good Dry Cleaning place. She offered to take my blazers in for me as she was on her way there to pick up some work. Beyond and above!! Thank you Rita...you're the BEST ❤
