I was so happy with my experience working with Zula’s. I had went to multiple tailors who wouldn’t even try to take on my project. She acknowledged it was be very difficult but was willing to try. I also took it right before Christmas and wanted it done as a gift. She not only had it done on time but it turned out excellent! I brought in a fully lined wool blend dress coat for alteration. The problems with it were The coat literally was down to my ankles It had so much extra material it flared out to make it look like it was a tent. Having 10 panels, each having to be taken in, shortened, including the lining, it was clearly a challenge. I felt confident that Zula could successfully do the alteration. The turnaround time for each stage of progression was within a day or two! She asked that I return for each fitting, and made corrections to my approval. In total, I had 3 fittings, with the final product being a custom fit beautifully tailored winter dress coat. Zula is a pleasant, accommodatin Seamstress that can work miracles on any garment she is given to alter. I was pleasantly surprised at her final bill total. I expected a much higher charge for the extent of work it took to get the finished product to look as it did. I am giving her the highest recommendation possible.

Mrs. Zula altered my bridesmaid dress on a tight timeline. She was able to transform my baggy dress into a form-fitting piece in time for the wedding. While I was there, she showed me some of the other dresses she was working on at the time. She has talent, experience, and old world charm. She's been doing this work for over 30 years, which is amazing considering the folks at the wedding dress store doing alterations didn't seem much older than me. I recommend her services!

Took my daughters prom dress for some alterations and the price was quite high. I ended up taking it to another tailor that I’ve used for everyday items before and she was $100 less. A substantial difference! The lady here is very nice but the price was just too high.
