The service at Sew It Fits is high quality and exceptional ! I am very pleased with the outcome for both of my winter coats. They needed zipper work and various other issues fixed like the button loops , a snap and one had a hole. Jessica did a fabulous job and went above and beyond by teaching me; how I keep breaking my zippers, ways to prevent the issue and maintain the zippers in future use. I will absolutely be returning for any repairs or alterations I may need! Thank you Sew It Fits ! ????

I discovered Sew it fits back in August when I needed some last min alterations done to a pair of pants. I called on my way to Sarnia and Jessica said I could bring them right in. I dropped them off in the afternoon (I think she also had a football team bring in their jerseys for alterations that day too). Jessica still managed to have them ready to go for me that day, even staying open later than usual to get them done. Thank you for the Great service Jessica.

My mother is an experienced seamstress so I know what excellent is in this department. I wear suits daily, and have brought everything from dress pants to jeans to vests to tuxedos to be repaired and or modified by Jessica. I can't recommend her enough. She cares and puts her full talent into her work.

My wife has had several bridesmaid dresses altered at Sew It Fits and each one has been a different material. They have all come back fitting her like a glove and all done so professionally and cannot tell where they have been altered. The owner has also worked well with meeting timelines, even during high peak wedding season. Owner is super friendly and meets her deadlines and works hard in order to ensure her work is done professionally and on time. Highly recommend this shop!

Jessica was amazing to work with and her work is top notch quality! 6 days before my bridal shower I tried my outfit on and realized it was not what I was picturing in my head. I messaged Jessica to see if I could have my dress shortened and the neckline changed. She got me in for a fitting Wednesday and by Friday afternoon I had my perfectly altered and pressed dress back ???? Thank you so much Jessica!! (I’ve included a before and after!)

I came to Jessica with a very tall order! I own and operate a princess event company and needed to have my professional and very expensive custom princess gowns altered in a very intricate way. Jessica was great from start to finish! First of all, she noticed that the original hem on my pants was uneven (I hadn't even realized) and was kind enough to stay open a few minutes late as I rushed there from work. No complaints about the price either.

I came to sew it fits with a very tight timeline to have my wedding dress completely redo and added sizing. Jess was absolutely amazing! she was able to fit me in to her already busy schedule and communicated every step with me. I felt very confident with every decision she made. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The store owner was very unprofessional towards me, and was very rude, intimidating and demanded me to leave from her establishment after I politely addressed my concerns with her. The workmanship was done in a very, poor and amateur manner and it was hemmed too short. She also marked up the dress with oil stains and stretched the fabric and took no responsibility for her actions or the damage she caused. She went so far as to say that the marks were our fault, when we had literally brought the dress from the store to her establishment.

I've never written a negative review before but I truly believe this experience warrants it. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone, especially brides-to-be. The owner of this establishment was rude and condescending, a very stressful and unprofessional person to work with who had terrible time management abilities. I wish I could say that at least the product made putting up with such unprofessional service worthwhile but after all that, I paid $900 for a dress that was way too long and had to wait down to the wire for. Please do yourselves a favour and go anywhere else.

Let me just start off this review with a few words that will help you understand my situation: Bridesmaid dress ordered off amazon from China. I had The Absolute WORST experience ordering a bridesmaid dress, it was highly stressful and frustrating. Neither of the 2 dresses I ordered looked anything like the photos, nor did they fit right because let's face it... it's a gown coming from China. I literally had a few days left before the wedding so I decided to take the risk and attempt to make the least-hated dress somewhat decent and I was prepared to rip it off after the ceremony. From the moment I brought it in to Sew It Fits and seen the customer ahead of me in a beautiful gown I knew I'd be in good hands.. ..and she did NOT disappoint! I literally dropped off a layered mess that looked like terrible on me, when I picked it up i had no time to try it on before rushing to get the bride ready so it was going to be a "surprise". Well, I have never had so many compliments on anything in my life. From guests to strangers, bus drivers and family... the compliments kept coming all throughout the night. The fit was perfect, everything stayed in place and I wore that gown as long as I could. The dress even looked flawless in photos--every angle. I had initially joked about wearing this dress for every event from now to mess with the bride but now after seeing it on I'll wear it proudly to any birthday, anniversary, christmas etc party because it truly is a beautiful gown. She was able the make the impossible possible and go from having me dreading it to feeling like a stunner without any sort of discomfort. I cant thank her enough for taking my stress away and letting me enjoy my night!! If you need alterations to anything, go to Sew It Fits because she can literally make you look good in a potato sack!! No lie! One of the best decisions of my life! Thank you Sew It Fits!
