First of all, I wasn't excited about what I was wearing to my wedding until I saw my suit with the alterations (because I'm a dude, not because I didn't like it or anything). I'm so excited to show my future wife! Secondly, Minka was friendly, easy going, helpful, and prompt in getting my suit tailored. Only took a week. Great experience, my fiancé said the price was certainly fair, and Minka was a joy to work with.

I will never go to another Tailor besides Minka! She did my dress back in September and I was so nervous having it be a designer gown but oh my goodness she made it look BETTER than when I bought it! I had her also do my bra for my wedding and I couldn’t even find where she did the stitching-that is how precise she is! She is so friendly and inviting I felt so comfortable and she didn’t charge an arm and a leg. She also did some emergency alterations on my one bridesmaids dress the day before the wedding and had the dress ready just in time, a true miracle worker! Minka will forever be the ONLY tailor I ever use.

Minka did alterations on a bridesmaid dress for me, and she did a really fantastic job! The dress needed several things done, and she gave her professional opinion on what the options were and what she thought would work best, but ultimately let me make all of the decisions on how I wanted it. She had it done well within my timeline that I needed the dress back before the wedding, and even built in extra time in case there were any additional updates that were needed after my final fitting. Minka is also such a sweet person and was fun to work with! She made me feel comfortable and heard throughout the entire process - I am so happy with how my dress turned out and I will definitely be back to Minka's shop!

I have used Ms. Minka for men's suit alterations for past 5 or 6 years with excellent results. She is very adept at altering new men's suits or ladies' dresses or formal wear. She gives accurate completion estimates and reasonable pricing. Her shop is well-patronized and she will try to work with your needs-bear in mind that she has "busy seasons" (e.g. "prom time") like CPAs in early April so discuss your expectations up front.
