I went here to get my bridesmaid dress taken out and/or have a corset put in. I have no idea of names, but the woman who came in to look made me feel awful, pretty much body shamed me and asks why I would even get this dress size. Then wanted to charge me $300. I thankfully found someone who would do it for $50 and was very friendly to me.

Called ahead about getting a pair of my pants tailored shorter and the staff was helpful and timely. Told me I can come in whenever and could have the pants done within 40 minutes if I wanted. Came back for them an hour later and tried them on and they were exactly how I wanted. Very fair price and did an excellent job. Will be coming back in the future, thank you!

went there to see if I could get my bridesmaids altered because it was too long. When I got the dress on the zipper stuck at the middle of my back (I have thick shoulders but I tried the same size I ordered on before I ordered the dress from David’s Bridal only a month ago) while she was giving me several options we could do, the seamstress joked, “you could loose weight”or “if you think you could get smaller). As somebody who severely struggles with weight and body image, she was so insensitive. I left the store in tears and will never go back to this location. So rude.

My wedding dress was very complicated to alter, so much lace everywhere. Irina did an amazing job! My dress looked perfect! My daughter had her dress altered there as well, they went through so much extra steps to make it fit her perfectly! They are very clean there, esp with covid. Highly recommend them!

We need fast service for our twins' senior prom and Alterations Express delivered! With just a week before prom we were able to have a criss-cross, tie-back prom dress altered down in the bust. When we picked it up at noon on prom day, it fit perfectly and was expertly tailored. My son's suit needed let out at the waist and, again, this was completed flawlessly and on time. Thank you, Alterations Express for helping make our class of 2021 prom day special!!

Horrible experience.. I took a wedding dress in to be let out so I could be more comfortable and the neck line adjusted. Once I picked it up the neck strap was just funny feeling, but I had a busy day planned and was going to look at it later. I left in a hurry figuring after I got home I could find some one to fix this problem. Once I looked at the actual dress below the neck IT WAS HORRIBLE. The dress was let out from the top of the dress through the hips then it just stopped bring altered. I was told that The mermaids dress is formed like that, i understand that but it WAS an empire waited dress and never stared out as a mermaid pattern dress. The solution to fix my dress was to have it taken in (I paid to have it let out), that was the only solution offered. I had to call off work to try and find a dress to wear to my wedding because we left a few days later. I sent an email to corporate with no response. I now have the 2nd dress that I had to buy in a hurry that I had to wear to my wedding because the original was ruined, and my original dress that I paid for and paid the alterations on that I have zero use for because it looks so terrible.**** update 9/28/17 still no contact from company. Lesson learned!!!

They always do a great job. Felt safe going during COVID. They cleaned the changing rooms right after someone came out. They then put a sign stating that room was clean. I'm always treated very nicely by the two women working there.

Wish i could give a 0 star rating! I came in to hem a dress and I paid $87 full! I come to pick up my dress and she tells me i have to pay an EXTRA $28!! For more hem work aparently??!! To keep in mind I only paid 20$ for this dress and its costing me triple!! I refused to pay the extra 28 and walked out with my dress! They are scammers! Do not go here they will rip you off!!

Alterations were fast for the bridesmaids dress, however, there was an issue each time. Only needed the dress to be taken in a little bit and each time it was like the dress was unfinished and ill-fitting. The 4 weeks leading up to the wedding, I was there at least twice a week. Was still displeased with alterations at the last appointment but we had no time to fix it. I ended up spending significantly more on alterations than I did for the dress. Overall, bizarre experience and majority of staff was rude.

First, let me say that the parking lot that it’s in is a nightmare. Not AE’s fault but still worth noting. I had new nameplate patches put on my football jerseys and they were done so well that you couldn’t tell that they were sewn over the original ones. Was done at a reasonable price and promptly.

I took my wedding dress to Irina after someone else at different location butchered the dress (uneven layers, uneven cutting of layers, incorrect sewing of tulle, incorrect sewing of cups) and Irina was able to fix my dress!! She is amazing at doing wedding dresses! She's very kind and worked well with my schedule. I highly recommend her!!! She was very professional and wore a mask the entire time. I can’t say enough great things about Irina!!!

This time I had my daughter take her wedding dress for alterations as well as myself with the mother of the bride dress for the same. Both of us are pleased with the whole process. Wanted 2 piece pants suit altered to fit it was extremely baggy... did my measurements there to take the pants in and the top as well. Got the outfit back within a few days.... the bra area was ill fitting... the bra pads were literally showing / poking out the top of the garment when I put the top on... also someone adjusted the waistband of the pants to where the right side was fine but about half an inch was taken off the width of the waist band on the left side to where the pants sit at an angle on my waist... I never wanted the waistband messed with just wanted the pants taken in. I won’t be back it almost seems like the fitting was just for nothing

I brought a bridesmaid dress to be altered. When I picked it up took it jome, it was altered so much that I couldn't zip it, and the dress was digging into my skin under the arms. I brought it back "luckily" they where able to extend it, I also told them about it digging u set the arms, they said "when we extend it, that will open it up.". I went to pick it up yet again, once again the issue of the underarms came up. Again they said "let me see if there's enough fabric, to adjust it. We took alot out before do there's not very much left." The asked for me to come back so they could fix it. I explained that they have inconvienced me several times, and I couldn't believe this was this difficult. As I was walking out, the lady stated "well you signed a paper". Me we once did they apologize, nor did they offer any type of refund. I paid alot more for alterations than I did for the dress. I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the service I received. The lady that did my fitting made me feel like I was putting her out when I came in. At no time did I speak with a manager, nor did they offer to have a manager call me. I will never go here again, nor would I recommend this place. Very unprofessional, and rude!

Went here senior year to get my prom dress altered and they nailed it! I was a last minute add-in but they were able to get me in and when I came back a few days later, my dress was perfect floor length. I was thoroughly impressed- especially as it was done quickly and for a good price. Can’t say enough good things about the experience and thanks again to the employees for their great work!
