I've waited over a year to post my review, to give myself time to see if I feel any differently...Over $500 was spent on alterations to my wedding dress, and by the time the dress was ready, I ended up feeling more uncomfortable in my dress than ever before. Looking back on my wedding photos, the dress looked ill-fitting on me and the bust swam on me, it was so loose and sat much too high...I spent my entire wedding day squirming and not feeling like a beautiful bride. I wish I could go back in time and get my alterations done elsewhere. Not to mention, I kept getting delay after delay on the dress. It was overall a very unsatisfying experience. Would not recommend.

I had some dry cleaning and simple repairs done at Gifty's recently. While the quality of the work was fine, the customer service was not. I discovered when brought my clothing home that one of the repairs I paid for (suit pocket repair) wasn't done at all. When I brought the pants back, I requested a discount on the repair due to the oversight and inconvenience. I was told by an employee that he would have to speak with the owner about that. The owner called me later and left me a message informing me that the pants were ready and that it was a simple oversight that the repair hadn't been done. When I picked up my pants, I again requested a discount due to the oversight but was told that since it wasn't an intentional oversight there would be no discount. I guess wasting my time due to their own oversight is not important to this business. Too bad, they lost a potential repeat customer!

If I could give them six stars, I would! Not only was the hemming done absolutely beautifully in about one hour, but the seamster knew off-hand that martial arts uniforms require a particular kind of seam! I wouldn't have known and his expertise kept me from running into trouble later. I am thoroughly impressed and will definitely return. Reliable, quality work and very professional service!
