I have been a customer since the tailoring shop opened several years ago. In my opinion Colleen is absolutely the best in the biz here on PEI. Not only does she ensure your satisfaction with a professional result every time, she also makes you feel right at home in her cozy little shop! My clothes and how I present myself are important to me. When my clothing needs alterations, Colleen is who I trust!

It's a bit tough to find the little shop in the mall but the hunt is worth it! I was struggling to find any same day tailoring around Charlottetown but Colleen fixed up my pants in minutes and I was on my way! Would highly recommend.

I recently had alterations done by Colleen's Elite Tailoring in Confederation Court Mall. This was not he first time I have used Colleen's for Tailoring and as usual I was very pleased with the courteous service and the quality of her work. I will definitely be back!

I had a very poor experience with Colleen's Ellite tailoring. I brought a bridesmaid dress to her 5 weeks prior to the wedding she said it was no problem to do the alterations. She asked for a reminder text 2 weeks before the wedding date which I felt was an odd request. She would not give me a quote before I left nor a range of a price saying she didn't know how much till she got started. I sent the text she replied with a date of the Tuesday before the wedding. I went to pick up the dress at the end of the day Tuesday to find that she hadn't even started it. She then said she would be done the following day, same story. Arrived to pick the dress up end of the day and still was not complete. Thursday( two days late) she still had to make more alterations after I tried the dress on. She gave me a price of $115 for a hem and taken in on the waist, When i asked for a lower price as the dress was late and I had to make numerous trips, Colleen was quite aggressive with her reply saying she needs to be paid for her time and that it was a long process for the dress. I would not recommend her. She was very unprofessional, unapproachable and did not stick to her dates. Also very expensive. The other bridesmaid had the same alterations and paid $30.

I went to Colleen for a simple patch job on a pair of jeans with no particular deadline. She told me it would be a week to get the job done, which as a busy, small business is understandable. With my busy life, about two weeks later I remembered that I hadn't gotten a call about picking up my pants. I brushed it off and didn't inquire about the lateness. After another week, I decided it was time to check in. She told me she had accidentally set them in a place she normally wouldn't, and had forgotten about them. She then asked me to text her tomorrow to remind her to get to them done... This is extremely unprofessional to ask a client to remind the owner of the job they have to do. I have never seen anything like this before. Get a piece of paper, use a note in your phone - anything but this. Finally, my pants were ready five days after our phone call. Over 3 and a half weeks since I dropped them off. Now, it wasn't urgent but to be this late when the estimate was one week... I gave two stars because the job she did was fine. No complaints with her skill, just a lack of understanding for professionalism.
