I’ve got a 2017 Model Chev Car. I have had it in the service shop 3 times this year for different mechanical failures. Not ONCE has the problem been covered under warranty. They always seem to make up a reason why warranty will not cover it. Wondering if the warranty doesn’t pay them as much as a walk in customer for their time.

Can't say I would want to go back and even talk to a salesman. After being told by Nick that "nobody wants to be an unpaid consultant" I would hate to waste anyone's time. I imagine that is the culture there at that dealership. If I want just chat about chevys to see if one is a fit for me then I'll go elswhere....

I have been a chevy/ gmc purchaser since 1972 there have been some great salespeople and some bad ones. The experience at Tyee was one of the best, I have had. We dealt with Nick Rose and the service we received from him was exceptional. He was honest, knowledgable, if he didn't have an answer he found it ASAP. I am first time Volt purchaser and had a 1001 questions for him, he answered all of them with out losing his patience. He was not pushy but straight forward. After purchasing the vehicle and driving it for a week, his follow up was appreciated. The dealership had happy, smiley, wonderful people and I would recommend Nick and the dealership to anybody.

Tony and the rest of the service department hit one out of the park for me when my 06 Duramax gave it up on a fishing trip this summer. It turned out to be a real problem child from the start, however they stuck with it, figured out the issues and treated me like a million bucks in the process. Allen made the purchase of my cobalt ss a breeze. He explained everything and showed me how to work everything. Knowing i wasnt from the area he even drove the car to the highway for me to start driving it for the test drive so i wouldnt have to test it on unfamiliar roads in the city. Very patient with me. My better half and I went to Tyee in January to look at Chevy trucks, there we met Nick Rose. A very knowledgable, not a pushy sales man. He answered our questions regarding different package style of trucks and he worked with the numbers we could afford. We drove away that day happy customers in a new GMC Sierra. While we were there, I spotted a Chevy Volt and a month later , we contacted Nick again to inquire about it because had such a great experience and follow up with every one there. I am now a proud owner of a Chevy Volt, thanks to Nick. It was the best purchasing experience I have had in a long time. Keep up the good work Nick and the people at Tyee!

Allen Howie has been a lifesaver for helping our family into 2 reliable vehicles. He listens to his customers. He's not pushy. He makes buying a new vehicle easier than expected and he takes all the stress out of the ordeal. I can't say enough about our experience over the past year and just recently last month. Very disappointed with the treatment I recieved when I tried to get a key cut here and was told I need to leave my car and pay $70 to "PROGRAM" new key. Turns out it took the parts guy at Pattison gm Nanainmo exactly 30 seconds and no charge for programing... odd enough?

Would give 6 stars if I could. Thorough and knowledge, would recommend! Plus they were able to put our 25ft RV on the hoist, not super common. Communication with John & other staff were great, they gave a lot of advice and were super compassionate to my complicated situation. Foreman Ken Bell was so generous to stay after hours to help us when we were in a pinch, he was super friendly and professional. Thank you!

Absolutely terrible!! do not take your vehicle there! we had are breaks done, not a big deal.... however when we got our vehicle back we noticed that it was extremely bumpy. so we took it back and was told that is not right at all. So they call my wife and say that there is a bulletin out on this vehicle that they were not supposed to put it on the lift for some time because the shocks seize up... OK.... then told my wife that it would be over $700 to replace. are you kidding me? we bring our vehicle in there, returned to us broken, so they can make more money? there is no way that we should be paying for this. we bring it to the dealership to avoid this kind of things - especially a known issue like this. so i went down there and told him i would not be paying for this his response "well then we are not putting them (the new shocks) on" i say that is unacceptable and go on a rant to get my point across. he then tried to walk away from me. so i follow him, he finally agrees to fix the vehicle. he is clearly upset, and has absolutely zero customer service skills. how do you tell someone you will not fix the damage you caused to someones vehicle! just mind blowing. unbelievable they are not willing to stand by their work! this is the stereotypical mechanic you need to watch out for.

Exceptional customer service as well as care in something as simple as an oil change. They went above and beyond! I would highly recommend to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle.
