Ok so we sent an email off at 630ish in the evening on a weeknight enquiring about booking a test drive. Within 10 minutes, the sales manager, Vicky, emailed us giving us a time to choose for the test drive on the day we asked. Then we replied asking if they had the plug-in hybrid we were looking to purchase, because our local one in Courtenay didn't. Again, a quick response confirming they did. The next morning, sales consultant Aaron called us to inquire what kind of finance option we would be looking at if we decided to buy so he could have some paperwork at the ready and confirmed the time and date. When we arrived at the dealership 20 minutes early, the vehicle was sitting there just waiting for us. Aaron's knowledge of the plug-in hybrid was awesome as he owned one himself and could point out all the features he thought we would use and enjoy. All COVID measures were in place at all times. Nelly in Finance was also awesome. The dealership itself had a nice happy family vibe to it and the inside is nice, bright and spacious. Overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and we would highly recommend this dealership.

Awesome Service support! My car broke down while camping just out of town, and we were worried a tow wouldn't be able to make it into the spot. Dave, from services, offered to come with me to the campsite and try to fix it there first. When we got there, he diagnosed the problem almost instantly, and replaced the battery, which had started leaking. I had a pretty good experience overall. The sales lady was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The finance lady was quick and knowledgeable of the products. Best of all not "pushy" which is very much appreciated. And there was the service department. A couple minor hiccups but resolved quickly and very accommodating in picking up my vehicle and dropping back off when completed. The work was done very well so overall I'd highly recommend checking them out. I got a great deal and 0% financing. How can you go wrong. With so many options out there: Honda, Toyota, Ford, Nissan, and Chevrolet... believe me I checked thoroughly all my options and I believe I got the best deal out there. I'm pretty detailed when it comes to getting what I want and I did just that. A big thank you to all the people at Hyundai. Almost forgot the insurance company Hub City came right to the dealership so I could drive it away that day and she also helped with my old vehicle changing its insurance coverage saving me money there since it was now a "pleasure" vehicle instead of my primary vehicle. Aaron Boles was a fantastic salesman who was helpful, knowledgeable and inviting without being pushy like some salesman can be. I have my 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe serviced by Campbell River Hyundai even though I don't live in Campbell River. I find that Megan Galloway - Service Department Manager and her team of highly qualified technicians not only take great car of my car, they also take good care of me. They do not perform work if it is not needed, they explain everything they're doing and make sure I fully understand. The whole facility is well managed and have excellent COVID-19 protocols which are followed by staff and customers. I would strongly recommend them for your service needs.

I recently purchased a 2019 Ioniq PHEV from Campbell River Hyundai. It started as a factory order for a 2018 but the model year change over occured and I got a 2019 at the price I had order. Troy and Sanjay were no nonsense and no game playing. They quoted me a good price, trade in value and offered free oil changes for as long as I owned the car. They kept me informed of the status of the order and were excited as I was when it arrived. On delivery, I was given an extensive walk through of the features and everything was set up for me. I went to them after being annoyed by the BS at my local dealer. They are a 45 min drive away and I do not regret making the choice of dealing with them both for the purchase and future service. I recommend them highly.

Foremost I liked the friendly, thoughtful service offered by Megan Galloway. She greeted me by name, something nobody does any more these days. Megans' customer service skills are very good and she is a conscientious, hard worker who obviously enjoys her work because she is so good at it. Megan was kind enough to find me a loaner car for the couple hours, and, at my request she found a salesman, and then introduced me personally. Keep up the good work Megan! I enjoyed the text reminder of my upcoming appointment a day or two out. I was blown away that the service package I bought also included a 29 piece car washing kit! I'll be back!

Traded in my ford focus and got a fiat. Best little car ever. The poor girl was very low on oil as the dipstick wasn't reading an oil . I tried topping it off unfourtently I filled it up too much. It caught on fire I was luckily ten minutes away from the dealership. I got it there but the engine caught on fire. The mechanic was as fast as I was and he put my engine fire out. Saved my car and probably my life. They had it fixed by the next day. Next time I will get them to do all servicing.

My wife really appreciated that she was able to explain how the vehicle is very useful for the family. She had helpful, real world reasons for why it would be good for our family, no pressure and no "pitch" attempts. I also appreciated that at Hyundai they focussed on the quality of their cars, rather than the deficiencies of other brand. Once price negotiations began, we were introduced to Scott Kilby. He was professional and, I think, a fair negotiator. We worked out a deal, and the feel throughout was straightforward and efficient...no nonsense. I would describe it as a respectful business experience, which is exactly what I like. After purchasing, Tannis drove our old car home for us. The final test is the quality of the vehicle. Hyundai seems to be on an upswing, which is why I picked this up over a Highlander or Pathfinder. If it proves to be as reliable as I hope it is, Hyundai will certainly have my business and recommendation.
