Nice little BC Ferries terminal on Quadra Island in the Discovery Islands group, and directly across from destination Campbell River on Vancouver Island. A short sub-10 minute sail. Picture postcard setting in a very pretty harbor. There's a coffee kiosk onsite (good coffee!) and a tiny but lovely fish & chips place right next door. A trio of totem poles greet arrivals at the terminal.

It's a small island ferry - easy going and can have a wait long-weekends. There's a ice-cream and snack shop, as well as a little sushi bar if you'd like to eat while waiting.

Nice clean ferry terminal. They have indoor space for foot passengers to wait or have a nice walk around. Nice clean bathroom with wheelchair access. Friendly staffs too. Everyone is wearing mask and practicing social distancing.

There is nothing about Quadra Island we did not like, including the BC Ferries terminal. Staff were friendly and helpful

Small terminal. Not much there but gets you to where you need to go. My car wouldn't start and they gave me a boost no problem. Thank you!

Small ferry terminal the usually has room for you, but not in the summer or the busy days or the long weekends or days that end with a Y. So pretty much just send it and hope for the best! Good luck.

On time. One ferry wait. Only a small fish shop available for food near the car lanes. Short 10 minute crossing so stay in your car, although a washroom is available onboard. This was Quadra to Campbell River.

Ferry staff were very friendly and helpful when loading the ferry. Lineups can be long as you can only put so many vehicles on the ferry and Quadra Island is a popular destination especially on long weekends. Be prepared to wait on those occasions.

I always enjoy taking BC Ferries, except when I miss one or am late for one or am almost on. Ferries are a transportation method here and BC Ferries works hard to provide good service.

Parked 1 hour before leaving.already in the 4th lineup. Told always at least 1 hr wait. Should have another ferry running to elevate lineups. Went to visit family 2nts. They wait for hours both sides to cross. Usually walk on. Don't need a car actually will walk from now on. Be prepared long weekends and summer. Sooooo many RVs and campers take spaces too. Bring drinks and food.not much selection on quadra side waiting. There are washrooms.

Round trip on a motorcycle for less than $20.00 bucks! Bikes are loaded first so you're almost guaranteed not to have a sailing wait.

The Queen of Powell River chugs across the channel between Campbell River and Quathiaski Cove in about 12 minutes. Half the time is spent manoeuvring in and out of the ferry terminals, especially at Q Cove, where the ferry has to go around a bend and then inch her way towards the landing stage. There is a small harbour here with a few fishing vessels. There is a place serving coffee and snacks and another serving ice cream.

Easier to get off Vancouver Island than it is to get back. Just a really busy terminal, thankfully it's just a short run over to Quadra Island, but be prepared to wait to get back.

Some of the friendliest and most fantastic staff but unfortunately the company is absolutely terrible. Charging an arm and a leg to travel anywhere makes it nearly impossible for lower income families.

Nice way to start your Quadra island adventure. with a 15 min jaunt to the island with return fare back to Campbell River. Best to ignore work cycle times during summer. You can also tell just how powerful the current is by the bend in the boats travels.

Live hear for 3 years and people visit from all over the world and everyone loves it with many returning especially people from other parts of BC. I Think I will be here until I die. It's a very peaceful place for campers hikers bikers kyackers and people who love fishing and have boats.

Saw a whale on both trips, in and out. Bring your binoculars on this ferry. We did and were truly blessed without the cost of chartering. Worth going to Cortes just for that!!
