I feel quite safe going into this business. The parking lot is cleared of snow and ice as is the pathway to the door. The total number of customers allowed in at any one time is strictly adhered to. There is hand sanitizer at the entrance. All is secure.

Great service and excellent craftsmanship. I had a pair of jeans taken in at the waist and had the legs tapered. She charged a very reasonable price and did an excellent job. The pants fit to a T. It is very hard to find someone who is as highly skilled as she is. Will be recommending to everyone I know.

They repaired the belt loops on 2 pairs of wool dress pants, from the pants hem, so the material matched. They fixed a leather glove whose stitching had come undone. The pants and gloves look and fit great. They completed the work in the time they said and for a reasonable price. They also cleaned and pressed the wool pants and removed a stain. The location is easy to access with plenty of parting. Also, there was NO smoke smell that my adept nostrils could detect (I am a non-smoker and detest the smell of smoke), and my clothes smelled clean and fresh when I picked them up.

The worst experience with this lady. She doesnt know how to deal with customers. Very rough behavior what i felt dealing with her. If i talk about work at this place, i gave 2 jeans to hem and she did hem like a novice. She didnt keep hard ends, used different color thread to sew it. Overall a bad experience and wouldnt recommend to come just bcz of low price. (prices r nt cheap though).

Came here to get my daughter measured for a dress! Was told they don’t do measurements??? Odd how do you alter your stuff. Had she allowed me to finish my full request she would have realized that I would have paid for the services and brought her the dress to have things added to it!

We had to alter something for a medical need and she not only did a fantastic job she ensured it was done in a timely fashion so we could put it to use right away. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ALTERATIONS!! This has been the worst experience ever! The lady I dealt with is very vague when agreeing to work, and trust me, will lie about it later if you ask. The quote for work done was overpriced, and during the fitting, she got very defensive when I was asking about the work she was going to do. In the end, when I realized she wasn't going to actually alter the dress to fit nicely (just make it tighter), she was rude and got mad at us for wasting her time with the dress pinning. There are many other delightful, qualified tailors in the city - go to any other one but Stitch & Sew Cambridge!

She repaired a huge rip down the middle of our stroller cover when no other tailor would and did such a great job it looks like it came like that! The price was very reasonable AND she did it in an extremely short time frame as we needed it the next day for a weekend away. VERY impressed.

I am a very detailed oriented individual, and I must say the lady's workmanship has always been very satisfying. I have hemmed and even sized a pair of expensive Jeans from top to bottom and she has done a fantastic job. As for those commenting on the customer service side of things, being direct should not be construed as impolite.

This place is great , dropped off my jacket to be stitched up. I wasn't able to make it before they closed and they were going on holidays , the lady there went above and beyond and offered to drop it off to me !!
