The quality of work here is excellent. I have had coats, pants and suits altered here and the pride in the workmanship is high. I won't be going anywhere else for alterations in the future.

I went to this place after being recommended by someone in the community. I'm slightly disappointed. I had to get a jacket zipper fixed and the quote given to me by the lady when I dropped it off initially, was $10 to fix the zipper OR may be $45 to replace the zipper. Upon their recommendation I did ask them to give the first option a shot and if that doesn't work, we'll get it fully replaced. I was also told that it would be attended to after the x-mas break. I did get a text from the shop within 3 hours that my jacket has been fixed. When I went to pick it up, I was told that its $15+ tax. I was taken aback and asked them about the discrepancy and the lady I talked to did not seem to address my concern. On top of that, they gave me an excuse that 'winter jackets' cost 15 bucks for repair. Though I'm grateful that they were able to get to my order same day and though the delta amount is not that significant, its the experience that I've had at this store and the lack of addressing my concern from the store has left a bad taste in my mouth. I have 2 questions : 1- When I dropped off the jacket for repair, why wasn't I told that winter jackets pricing are such and such Vs ordinary jackets? 2- Why didn't the person I was dealing with have the courtesy to address my concern about the price discrepancy, when I went to pick up my jacket?

I’ve been going to Shataw at Dream Alterations for 5 years and always have had an excellent experience. All the jobs have been done in a timely manner and the quality of everything done has been really good. No fraying fabric, no uneven cuts, fits great after alterations for my dress shirts and suits. All tasks so far have been no problem. Even altering a bridesmaids dress for a new mother so she could nurse! I’ve tried many in Calgary!

Shataw is the real deal... Best suit alterations ever, totally impressed. Super friendly service and helped me out in a rush. I was referred to Shataw while visiting Calgary for the weekend. I'm from Edmonton and have been struggling to find a 5-star tailor for years, no luck, always left disappointed. I recently found Dream Alterations when I brought my new winter coat in for alteration. The quality of the work is absolutely fantastic - it fits wonderfully! They know how to get it done right. Dream Alterations feels like a wonderful dream that you don't want to wake up from! Found this place via a google search and am so glad I did. Got a hem job on a pair of jeans and the quality is FABULOUS. The service was super fast (I dropped my jeans off at 530 and they were ready an hour later - I'm sure this doesn't always happen, but daaaaang that's efficient!) and Shataw was sooo friendly and wonderful to deal with. I've already told friends about it and will definitely be back the next time I have anything I need done!

Really convenient place for us living in the Evanston community. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Paid for the zipper repair and received text message to let me know it was ready for pickup. The place has lots of parking and is right beside the Shoppers Drug Mart.

Shout Out to Dream Alterations! I went in there earlier this week with an impossible task, something a different alterations place had already turned me down on. But the wonderful, friendly and helpful staff at Dream Alterations took me in and were able to do an amazing job. STOP. Don't go anywhere else. This is the place you've been dreaming of, with the friendliest staff, who are more than capable of ANYTHING. They pulled a miracle with 2 suits of mine that I was swimming in after losing a ton of weight. The suits are now incredible, like a custom tailored suit. If they can pull that off, I think you can trust them with ANY article of clothing.

Best place to get clothes altered in Alberta!!Shataw and her team do an amazing job every time! This last visit I brought them a fashion bathing suit that had some manufacturing flaws. It almost seemed like an impossible task to correct the fit...but not for Shataw and her team! I have nothing but the most amazing things to say about this place! I went on a whim with a dress last minute this summer, I thought I just needed the dress shortened, turns out a couple changes here and there and my dress fit like a glove.... this week I walked in with a dress I loved that was 6 sizes too big, she didn’t even bat an eye, that dress is beautiful she said and started marking it up to fit me perfectly! Beautiful, clean shop and amazing work! After reading other reviews I took in a pair of high rise jeans to be taken in. In the past I have taken similar pants to other seamstresses and not being happy at all with the results. They have either not fit properly or have been done in a manner that makes them very uncomfortable. Not this place! They fit like a glove, we're comfortable, and the stitch work was very clean and tidy. The price was also great, comparable to the shoddy work I had done elsewhere. Will definitely be returning! Brought in 3 Aritzia coats to get hemmed to be shorter and they did an amazing job. The hemming looks exactly like the original. She even stitched up a small area of the collar to help even it out. First time getting any type of alterations and I’m glad I picked this place, they did an amazing job! Worth the money!

I have got my jeans done here a few times and it was great. Most recently they tailored a suit thats about five years old and wow. They tapered the pants and suit sleeves, made it more fitted around the rib cage, tailored the sleeves and pant legs. I got a lot of compliments, people asking where and how much I got it for. Basically they took a baggy suit and made it completely fitted and brand new. Thank you so much!
