I am beyond impressed with Maisoon. She is a complete perfectionist that will do anything to make your requests happen! She is altering my wedding dress and not only is it an insane rush order, she is also reworking my entire veil since the lace was a bit too white for the dress. This is no small feat by any means - individually cutting out personalized lace and sewing 35 tiny pieces on - an incredible custom veil. She is also very conscious of your budget and is so generous with her time and hard work. Her schedule is flexible and I've never had a problem getting in when it works for me. It also doesn't hurt that she is so sweet and complimentary - makes you feel like a model! Would recommend her to anyone and everyone needing alterations or custom pieces done :).

Maisoon did a great job on my alterations. Very detailed dress with lace and beading that needed to be let out. It was expensive which is why the less 5 stars but with the amount of work involved in it I can understand why. Sometimes the price you pay gives you the quality of work. I was very happy with how my dress turned out. She even put in an extra layer of crinoline under my dress and shortened the underskirt for no charge last minute due to some errors in my judgement of the length.

Maisoon was by far the best seamstress I have ever dealt with! My wedding dress needed some changes and I brought it to her just weeks before my wedding, but she assured me it would be done on time. And she did it, with time to spare! I gave her a difficult task with a tight timeline, and she had absolutely no problem making that happen for me. My dress had pretty intricate beading on the top piece that needed skillful hands, and hers were the best ones for the job. She was the loveliest lady I have met in a long time, I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for alterations! I will definitely be a returning customer Thank you Maisoon!!

Maisoon did an excellent job altering my wedding dress. I was very concerned after another seamstress told me it was impossible to take my dress out – Maisoon was able to do it with no issues at all. She was very accommodating, great to work with, and gave me a number of options for the various alterations I got. In the end, the dress came out looking and fitting above and beyond my expectations. Maisoon is very meticulous/detailed with her work and I would definitely recommend her for wedding gown alterations (and she also did a great job on one of my bridesmaid’s dresses too).

I found Maisoon through a bit of Google searching. I was originally referred to another alteration place for my bridal dress, which happened to be the same place I was referred to for my bridesmaid dress last year (by a different store). I had the worst service there, and I thought maybe it was because I was a bridesmaid, and I would get better service as a bride. I didn't want to take any risks, so I went on a hunt. It didn't take me long to find Maisoon. She responded quickly to my inquiry on her website and fit me into her schedule. She will give you a consultation so you do not feel obligated that you 1. have to go with her or 2. overpay for her services. When I went to see her, I thought I would only need to get my straps shortened and a hem. But she gave me suggestions that blew my dress away - she took it in two sizes smaller at the waist and made it more fitted around the hips. This dress fit me when I bought it, but wow, I had no idea that she could make it literally fit so snug (yet comfortable!) like a glove. She is amazing! My only regret is had I known she was a dressmaker, I would've considered getting my dress made by her. You won't be disappointed in her services!

Maisoon is a miracle worker. After rashly purchasing a beaded and patterned wedding dress 3-4 sizes big for me at a sample sale (not realizing how complicated alterations are), she worked her magic and made it fit like a glove. She took great care and caution in restitching the beading and pattern for me so it looked completely uninterrupted. She also made and added on the ruffled off-the-shoulder sleeves of my dreams (with elastic for lots of movement!). Highly recommend her.

Maisoon is incredibly talented and passionate about her work and it’s very clear by the end product she produces. I found her to be very thoughtful and precise in ensuring alterations to the dress truly make sense. She would answer any questions I had and would provide advice on which alterations she thought were worthwhile or others she thought would not be as beneficial. I went to her for both my wedding dress and a cathedral length veil. She altered the dress beautifully and made me an incredible veil. Maisoon is also very transparent with costs and breaks down each element so you as the consumer know exactly what you’re getting. In terms of overall pricing, I found it to be fair and reasonable. It’s very evident to me that she pours her heart into her work and I will certainly be returning with other dresses of mine that I’d like to have tailored.

Maisoon altered my wedding gown just recently. She was fantastic! She was so organized, making all her appointments in advance to ensure my dress would be ready well before my wedding day. I was always so comfortable and never worried about the progress of my dress alterations. Her work was incredible! She was able to alter my dress to make it fit right for my body while still keeping the original look and feel of the dress (even down to the intricate beadwork that had to be redone). Maisoon's pricing is more than fair and she didn't even charge me to sew on the belt! I cannot recommend Maisoon enough!! From our first meeting to fixing my dress after the wedding, Maisoon was amazing. She is truly talented at what she does!! I bought a consignment wedding dress and it was 3 sizes too big. But to top it off the whole top was delicate bead work. I still don't know how she was able to take so much material out and have the top still look stunning. My dress fit like a glove. And her prices are very fair, especially for the quality of work she does. My wedding day was one of the most special days of my life and she truly helped me feel like a princess. People couldn't believe that she wasn't a Malaysian dressmaker. All that I brought her was a picture of a model that I liked, and she did the rest. I found Maisoon through Pearl and Dot and I'm so happy with my decision to have her alter my wedding dress. I was nervous to have anyone touch my beautiful gown as it was a Hailey Page with multiple tiered layers of tulle. As soon as I met Maisoon I was very comfortable with her and confident in her work.
