This lady stayed open an hour late for me fixed everything that need to get done and pressed my pants all for $35. Great value and such a personable tailor! They are real wizards. Got a suite from Indochino for my friends wedding. But since the wedding was around the corner, Indochino was not able to do the alterations after their first delivery. Found this place by Google search and they have 100% 5 stars for reasons. Lana is a gentle lady who is the owner and very professional about and experienced with measuring and alterations. Highly recommended. Although the price is higher than average, you have very satisfied results in return.

Lana did an amazing job fixing my wedding dress. I had to hem it and make the overall size smaller. It was flawless work that she did. I am so happy with my wedding dress now. When I put on my dress for the first time, I didn’t really like how my armpits were showing. Lana suggested that she could put the shoulder laces to cover my arms and she did! It really made my dress look so much prettier.

A couple months ago, I went looking for wedding dress alterations in the Lower Mainland. I'd purchased my dress at a liquidation store and I knew it was going to need alterations from the start. After doing a bunch of research and making a few calls, I chose Wizard of Needles and I couldn't be happier! Lana is an excellent seamstress. Not only did she take in and hem the dress until fit it perfectly to my form, she also created beautiful straps from scratch that blend in perfectly with the beaded neckline. The straps in particular, I had an idea of what I wanted, but I couldn't articulate it. However, Lana understood perfectly and with her own vision, she designed the exact straps I had been imagining. It was so wonderful to see my dream dress become a reality. Even with all the work this dress needed, Lana completed the project in a very timely manner and for a super reasonable price. If I have any other garments in need of alterations, I'm definitely bringing them to Wizard of Needles. Thank you so much, Lana!

Lana did a fantastic job with my wedding dress alterations. She not only hemmed the dress but also added a pearl belt, off-the-shoulder straps and a lace neckline to my simple gown. My only small piece of criticism is Lana had scheduled a fitting for a Thursday night because she wasn't available on the weekend and my now husband and I both cancelled plans to make that time work. However when we arrived she told us the alterations weren't ready yet so we had to drive all the way back home. Overall, great experience but definitely recommend texting/calling Lana beforehand to make sure your alterations are ready to go. I can imagine it gets hard to keep track with so many different appointments and things going on. Thanks again Lana for your hard work!

Svetlana is great! I brought in a wool coat to have the sleeves lengthened, and a leather jacket to have the lining replaced. Both jackets look fabulous, and she even added some cute wool cuffs to my leather jacket for extra warmth. Prices are very reasonable, and comparable to any tailor I've used before.
