Very satisfied with quality of dry cleaning????

Stitch World has been my dry cleaning service for quite some time now and just a few months ago I brought my white rayon shirt in for some cleaning and when I went to retrieve it I didn't notice anything as the lighting in the place was not very good it was quite dim. When I arrived home I held the shirt up in broad daylight and I noticed that the shirt was discoloured so I called them and told them what happened, they told me to bring it back and we'll inspect together. So I did, they insisted that it was the shirt that was causing the discolouration and that its the underlining that's making it look whiter in some areas. I obviously knew it wasn't that but they kept saying its not their fault and indirectly implied that my eyes were playing tricks on me, which was extremely rude and disrespectful. They offered to take it back to the cleaners and have them take another look so I let them and afterwards it was returned the same way. They didn't offer any refund or reimbursement or any solution to fix it and sent me out. Worst Service I've every received and for something that they damaged. I would advise to NEVER give them service here and take your goods elsewhere. somewhere that actually cares for your garments.

This is the worst place ever for customer service. I took my jacket in for a zipper replacement for a pocket. Lee, the lady who I talked to, advised that it would be $25 with 10% discount, which works out to be $22.50 and I supply them with my own zipper. I had a zipper done by them a year before and it was only $20 and I found the receipt to prove it. They insisted that they want to charge more. Anyway, I dropped off my jacket on a Sunday and Lee was not there but with another european lady. So, I called the next day, Monday, and talked to Lee and she said everything is ok and advised me to call back on Saturday when the jacket should be ready. I called on Wednesday to see if the jacket can be readied by Friday instead. Lee then insisted that I have to come in to pay for the jacket and I told her that I live in Richmond and is quite a drive. I assured her that I would pay for the jacket when I pick it up. Now she said she wasn't sure if the jacket would be ready by then. Shortly I spoke with her, her manager/owner, Mark called me back and said they don't want to do the work and insisted that I pick up my jacket. What a waste of time and gas, I went there on Thursday to pick up the jacket instead and I took it to a place in Richmond and they gladly got my business. This place is the worst ever.... I would never do business with them again. Worst customer service ever.... I would not give them even a 1 star but have to in order to post this bad review. Don't take your work there, there are other tailors that can do better, at a reasonable price , and better customer service.

If you want something done right by efficient and honest people, this is not the place to go. I came in, got measured, got a service fee for the alterations i wanted, and it was supposed to be ready one week later. A day AFTER it was supposed to be ready for pick up, i got a call saying that they want to increase the service fee. I got nothing but time and effort wasted. Horrible service.

DO NOT go to this business. I took two brand new jeans to get alterations because the length was too long. The tailor took the measurements while I had them on, pinned exactly how much I needed tailored. I went to pick up the jeans, tried them on and they cut them too short. Told them they need to fix them as this was not the length. So fine the girl said she would add material 1.5 inch and to come back to pick them up. Went back the third time and still the jeans were shirt. Le is so rude and wouldn’t even listen to what I had to say. All she kept saying was it’s fixed when it wasn’t and the jeans were short. I spent $140 on the jeans and $46 to get them hemmed. All went to waste. Le is not professional or friendly at all. The owner Mark should be contacting his customers who were unhappy with the work their tailors did. So disappointed with this tailor and I will never ever use them. The stores in Metrotown should not be sending customers to this location due to the service.

These guys are god awful. We brought two pairs of jeans to them for a simple hem and they managed to mess both pairs up. I would give them 0 stars if possible. Go to a real tailor, pay a few dollars more and get your jeans properly done. I ended up tossing out a pair of $200 jeans because of these women. Fail

They dry cleaned a pair of pants and replaced a zipper for a mini skirt. It took a little over 2 weeks for them to have the skirt ready. Initially, I was told I could come in 1 week after I dropped off the clothes. The day before I was due to pick up, they called me to say that the seamstress was a no-show and they would need more time to replace the zipper as a result. They said it would be ready next Friday (exactly one week later), and I replied that I could even drop by on the weekend after that Friday. As it turned out, I was too busy that Friday and the weekend after that, so I sent my partner to pick up on Sunday night. They told him they didn’t have the skirt ready! I was very surprised - the lady on the phone made it clear that it would be ready by Friday (2 days prior). They told my partner there that it would instead be ready the next day, on Monday. His time was wasted and we were both annoyed. Although I’m satisfied with the look of my pants and skirt, I won’t be coming back here because of the communication.

I went to another alterations place in Metro, asking for a quote on shortening a zipper fur trim to fit my hood (lost the original fur) and they wouldn't even do it, sent me away. Went to Stitch world and they only charged me 30 when I thought it'd be a lot more - plus they did the most amazing job. My aritzia parka now has perfectly fitting fur trim - they managed to trim the fur and zipper beautifully

I understand that Covid-19 has had a major impact on businesses and the way we operate, but I had clothing left in March for an alteration, and it is now June and I have not been able to contact Stitch World... I understand that things are difficult, but come on, its been nearly 3 months, the least you can do is allow pickup for clients who have left alterations with you.

Brought a coat here to be dry cleaned, but that turned out to be a big mistake. When it came back, the buttons were removed and they had the gulls to want to charge us money to put it back on. When asked why they didn't tell us in the first place when we first PAID ALREADY for the dry cleaning, that's when they mentioned that they don't actually do the cleaning themselves; it's contracted out. How convenient for them that they can now use that as an excuse to charge more money to sew the button back on. We told them no as we can do a much better job ourselves. We will never use this business again, and I suggest everyone to look elsewhere for tailoring and/or dry cleaning if you don't want to get ripped off.

Just needed a pair of leggings hemmed. Everywhere else I have ever gone to has been able to do such a task in under an hour. They wanted me to come back late the next day (New Year's eve) but I needed them before leaving town. When I returned the next day they weren't done. They wanted me to wait 10 minutes... so apparently that is all the time needed to do it. Unimpressed. Won't be back. Will stick to Stitch It at Coquitlam Centre.

Poor job on a simple dress hem that came out. To be fair the material isn't the easiest to work with. However, it wasn't straight and loose thread everywhere. For a professional to let work like that go is not right nor fair. Dry cleaning is out sourced, it doesn't even seem cleaned.
