As an example of her talent and expertise she was able to turn one of my late husband's golf shirt into a golf dress for me, how amazing is that!! Zara’s Alterations is the best place in and around Burlington for alteration services. I was in a jam and needed some alterations done in an emergency and Zara came through for me. Very professional service, Speedy service and the quality work is exceptional. I had 2 pants altered in less than 20 minutes and another and a blanket cut and sew back within 3 hours. She corrected a jacket that was so badly sew and I was delighted with the new look Thanks Zara

A couple months ago i needed my suit pants hemmed for a Funeral, searched for Alteration places in Burlington, and found Zara. Zara was very responsive and setup an appointment right away on such short notice. I had one pair of pants i needed rushed for the funeral and 5 other pairs that needed alterations/fixing as well but no rush. Zara messaged me the next day saying everything was done! Zara is very professional, extremely flexible, kind and does good quality alterations within a reasonable price/time. My wife and i have used other Alteration places in Burlington but the turnaround times can be several weeks and found the service was poor and disorganized. i would strongly recommend/encourage anyone to give Zara a try and support local small businesses especially now more than ever. Thanks again Zara!

She made a Harry Potter Hogwarts robe for my daughter from scratch, making the pattern herself, and replaced the lining inside my favourite blazer. Her pricing is very reasonable. I had a bridesmaids dress that I needed altered for a wedding the next day as the place I brought it to before (Meena's Cleaners) in Milton didn't have it done and let me down. I was so frustrated, so I found Zara's on Google and I called her and she told me it was no problem and to come down. I was also in a rush because I had to help set up the venue all day as well. So, I went over and she is the sweetest lady I gave her my dress and everything I asked for she did and she had it done within 4 hours and she charged me less than Meena's Cleaners. I was so thrilled! I will be going to her for all my future alterations.

Zara did an amazing job replacing the entire zipper mechanism on my winter coat. A zipper repair wasn't possible because two of the "teeth" along the zipper track had also broken off. To be honest, at first I wasn't sure if a zipper replacement would be worth it. However, believe me that my zipper is now functioning better than it ever was. My family and I are so very glad we have found Zara for all of our alterations needs going forward. She is very skilled and I would recommend in a heartbeat! Your alterations search should end when you find Zara!!

I was very pleased to find out about Zara and the service I received from Zara. The way Zara talk over the phone, how she welcome us at her place and how she was accomodating our needs. She spent enough time to make sure things will be done the way we want. When I get my cloth back I was happy how Zara managed to get it the way I wanted at the time I need and the price was reasonable and well deserved. Zara went above and beyond and she contacted me couple days after I collected my cloths asking how is everything and if I am happy with the result. I can’t thank her enough! I was maid of honour and the day before the wedding the zipper on my dress jammed and broke. It was after hours yet she still answered my call and said it was alright for me to come by so she could assess if it was something she could fix. An hour later, the dress what fixed and had a zipper on it better than the original! She is the sweetest woman and very professional. 10/10 would recommended her and will be returning for any of my future altering needs!

My North Face winter coat would have taken weeks to get fixed under warranty by the manufacturer, plus I would have had to pay for shipping. I'm so happy I found Zara!! Other tailors were not willing to open up the jacket and do it properly, they would have just overlaid the zipper on top of where they would have cut out the old one. Zara did the job just like it came from the factory with a quality YKK zipper and she did it faster than North Face. Thank you Zara!
