I ended up going here since they had so many good reviews. I regret this immensely. I brought in a dress to be taken in for an upcoming wedding. Not only was it not ready the day she said it would be, she kept telling me to come back next day and still wasn't ready. I believe she ended up rushing the alteration and butchered my poor dress. It's strapless and the cups she ended up pitching for some reason and the sides that were somewhat taken in don't even align. I took it to another alterations place and she was pretty surprised with how badly this was done. Of course I'll have to pay her to undo what Wendy did and also actually correctly alter my dress. Of course I don't have that time before the wedding and will have to find another option to wear. I DO NOT recommend this place what so ever.

Wendy has outstanding knowledge on all kind of clothes. I do trust her alteration, she’s like a private tailor for me just like shops on Savile Row in England. It could never be controversial so that I always drop off my pricy clothes to her without any doubt.

Small place that also does phone repair, but the lady is really nice and helpful! I read some places try to charge you more for tailor jobs but she was fair. When I came back thinking I needed another alteration for the same item, she had me put it on and checked it carefully before pointing out that I didn't need any more changes. Some others might have done it anyway for the money, so i w very grateful, and she was right! Happy with alteration in end :)

My cloth is a thick jacket, which generally requires a special sewing machine. The owner has it and adjust my long sleeves shorter nicely. Price is very reasonable, and the lady has a nice welcome smile. I absolutely recommend this shop!!

Fantastic alterations here at good prices. Wendy is very nice to deal with, and she is very detailed oriented. I ask her to take in my Burberry Bomber jacket that I love because I lost some weight. She did a fantastic job, it's perfect you can't even tell it was taken in, she made it a size 48 from a size 54. Her skills are next level.

I tried Wendy’s Top Tailor for the first time and WOW they did an amazing dry cleaning job on a coat I didn’t think could come clean. They also removed pills and it looks brand new! The lady working there is such an angel.

I've been going to Wendy for the past three years for all of my alteration and dry cleaning needs. She's great! There's definitely a bit of a language barrier every now and then but the quality of her work speaks for itself. She's repaired many holes in my jeans and sweaters. She also hems all of my pants. I've never had a problem!

Wendy altered my Pronovias wedding dress to fit me perfectly. She made very helpful suggestions to make the dress fit me better in ways I hadn't even considered, but kept costs to a minimum. I was surprised to find such reasonable prices in downtown Vancouver. I highly recommend!
