Vlad is a true craftsman and does high quality work with a fine attention to detail. I needed my riding boots altered, and he did a fantastic job, especially considering the complexity of the work and variation between each boot. His prices are reasonable and he completes the work in a very timely fashion. Came here after a poor experience at Stevenson's Shoe Clinic. I was quoted 3 weeks to do the work by Stevenson's, Vlad quoted me a week and completed it in 4 days. Just something to note, Vlad's is a small shop run by one man so you'll need to kick it old school and pay with cash or cheque. Another thing to note, the entrance to his shop is a bit confusing. You go into what looks to be a bridal shop and walk downstairs.

Vlad is great. I took my shorts in to change the zipper, he fixed the old one & did another repair. It was finished in the time it took me to go get the $10 it cost me. Great service !

I've taken a leather backpack here and most recently my leather jacket, a jacket I've had since I was a young, for some repairs and the work has always exceeded my expectations. Vlad is incredibly skilled and his repairs have always been seemless and stronger than the original build. I've taken him some pieces that hold heavy sentimental value to me and he has always returned them to me in better than original condition. I highly recommend this shop.

This guy is about as good with leather as it gets, fixed the waist of my oversized brand name Moto jacket and it looks better than the original did and it was affordable to boot. He defiantly has a return customer in me.

Tailoring results were satisfactory and done relatively fast but he wasn't overly friendly. If I didn't ask for a quote, he would have let me walk out the door without telling me a price. Won't be going back.

What an amazing service. I dropped on Saturday without appointment. He was closed but opened to accommodate my needs. Service was professional. His work was perfect. Prices are very reasonable. I knew that a small shop like him might not have debt/credit machine so I was ready with cash. He gave me a receipt. Thank You Vlad...although I know that you might not be able to read this review as you are unfamiliar with technology!

Vlad is fabulous. I've only used him for leather repair, not tailoring. But his prices are fair and he won't try and sell you things you don't need. My only criticism is that he comes across as quite harsh at times. Like he's angry or annoyed with you. I do wish his bedside manner was a bit friendlier, but that aside, he really does amazing work, and I won't take my leather bags to anyone but him!

Vlad repaired a beloved set of boots, a job that another cobbler had tried but failed, he took some time (he's busy) but it was worth the wait to get the repair done. The work was economical as well, allowed me to keep an otherwise great pair of footwear.

Apparently being a "cash only" establishment, where reciepts are not issued upon drop-off, gives the merchant the freedom to charge you 150% the quoted price upon pick-up for work that was not even initially agreed upon. The work was acceptable, but I would not recommend the services to anyone based on principle.
