NOT recommended. Nice Asian ladies who need someone on site who speaks and understands English. I took in a dress with written instructions to just CUT the hem, waited a week to pick it up and found it to be hemmed, and cut very crooked crooked crooked. They repaired the length ... then still hemmed it. Every time I said "Please no hem" I got the nod and Yes no hem. So. Not the end of the world but they clearly need to learn the language of their customers. I did not even want to give them the one star needed to post this review.

Brides beware! I took in my very simple wedding dress to be hemmed and have the front taken in. There was so little care and attention put in. The dress was covered in pin marks from being pushed against other things, some threads were pulled, the hem was poorly cut, and worst of all, there was a big brown dirt mark on the back of my dress! After I pointed it out, she was able to mostly clean it off, but you can still see where it was. After seeing how much they care about something like a wedding dress, I wouldn't even bring my pants to be hemmed here. I regret not asking for my money back.

I had an expensive down sleeping bag damaged from heat burning two large holes inside. I was hesitant to bring it in to this place to be fixed, but came based on a recommendation, and hoped they would patch it up in a way that would stop the down from leaking. When I picked it up I was shocked by their work- it was beyond my expectations. They didn't simply put a patch on top but somehow manage to work it into a seem, so that the repair looked invisible. Highly pleased with the result!

I was recommended to come here by friends, I had four Spoonflower crepe de chine scarf samples and twelve organic cotton table napkin samples of my fabric designs that I wanted cut and hemmed. I have a sewing machine, but I knew I wouldn't do as good of a job at hemming so many items as a professional (especially the crepe, it's not an easy fabric to hem as it's so lightweight). I brought all my samples into Luv 2 Sew, and explained what I would like done. I said that I would like quite a narrow hem particularly on the scarves, as they were going to be worn. When I came back a week later to get them (I wasn't in any rush and I knew it was a big job), they were all hemmed with a beautiful narrow hem, and even the sewing threads used matched the colour of each item. I was super impressed and gave her a tip, and I'll definitely be back if I need more of my design samples hemmed. Fantastic job. ????

I don't usually write reviews but wanted to share what a great experience I just had at Luv 2 Sew. I needed alterations to a jumpsuit to better fit my frame, and she fit me as soon as I came in to drop it off, and a week later I came back and tried it on and it was a perfect fit! Very reasonable rates for the quality of the work.

Very pleased with every item they have altered or created simply from a photo or an existing item of clothing. Very talented and versatile. It is a relief not to have to shop endlessly for the right fit, colour, and fabric when you can have exactly what you want with a trip to the fabric store and a visit to Luv 2 Sew.

The stitching wasn't straight. Thin thread was used on jeans, to replace much stronger larger thread. The difference was noticeable.

I like the work done here but they insist on payment up front and the debit machine option for payment means that you must tip them as well. This is really annoying. Won't be back.
