The service was great - I got my suit tailored for the wedding and it was a good job with a good turn around (a week I think?) The change room is a a bit makeshift but I'm happy with what they're able to put out in such a small space. Plus - It's a great building to wander into!

My experience with Albert's Tailors was absolutely disgraceful. They were rude, unhelpful and left me feeling very upset. I would strongly advise against going to this tailor. I took my jacket in for repairs. He gave me a needle and told me to do it myself after saying that he could not help. I suggested an alternative option, he refused and would not explain why. Obviously customer service is something they need to work on, or at the least some courtesy and general manners. I will never return here again & highly recommend searching elsewhere if you are in need of alterations.

I've been going to Albert for 8+ years now. I bring him very complex tasks and I have high expectations. He surprises me every time. He's very gifted, fast, and relatively inexpensive. All my friends go to Albert. Note: he will refuse some jobs. He wouldn't help me with a ripped pillow case. "Only clothing alterations".

I've tried to go to Albert three times. Every single time I've gone at 4:30 (because he actually doesn't open at 4), he hasn't shown up. I've waited there for 45 minutes until I've given up and left. THREE TIMES this has happened. I'm sure he's a fantastic tailor, and I regret not being able to testify to his tailoring skills, but the unreliability is enough to turn me off completely. What happens when you need to pick something up for an event and he's a no show? Not professional, and not reliable.

One of the best places to get quality jeans hemmed. Albert has done a great job altering multiple pairs of my jeans. Show up early since there's always a line (Charge your phone!). It's also cash only.

The Good: Worksmanship is up there close to Oakridge tailor and Kerrisdale tailors. Price is 1/4 of Oakrdige tailor and 1/2 of Kerrisdale tailor. The Bad: It opens at 5pm......I literally have to wait for weeks to find avaiable times in my schedule to go there. ANDDDD finished product is sloppy in presentation b/c he leaves threads and stuff on the clothes so it always takes time to clean the articles. Conclusion: The price savings for this type of work justifies me going through the hassles. I see mostly jackets pants and shirts there, not many gowns but he does wonders with my suits and coats at amazing prices. Shortening sleeve from top at perfect matched lengths, while tailors at Holts and Leone etc. all can't match equal lenght when shortening from top.

Went to Albert as it was recommend by the sales associates at Club Monaco. The store hours may be a little confusing but he is a great tailor with reasonable prices

My experience with Albert's Tailor was extremely disappointing. I took My Burberry trench coat to him for modification, and received back a garment with crooked stitching, seams sloppily sown and loose threads everywhere that I spent a while picking off. For a professional tailor, the quality of his work is unacceptable. Read through the other comments here for more clients with similar complaints of shoddy workmanship and poor quality control. Just take a look at the pictures.

Altering my review because despite him being 20mins late for when I was supposed to pick up my chinos, he done a really good job to them. My only advice to anyone picking up your clothing item is to arrive a day before, to ensure your not rushing around if he's running late.

Just a nice guy who has been doing his craft for a long time. I found Albert when I noticed I had a tear in a blazer (towards the end of a business day) and needed it fixed. I googled tailor in downtown Vancouver expecting all to close around 5pm and saw his hours. I thought it was a misprint but his late night only hours are perfect for after work drop offs. Prices reasonable. Cash only. I’ve never waited in line the 3 times I’ve been there. A good man! Great business keep it up Albert though I doubt he bother reading reviews

Horrible service. I went back to retrieve my pants after a message that they were ready three times only to be told they weren't there and to come back next week. This was repeated several times. Tailor rarely there during hours he posts. He did not even offer an apology for the amount of time I wasted returning to his shop 4 times to pick up pants I was told were ready that weren't there. When I did receive them they were covered in threads, lint and hair. I was so angry (and charged full price) that I left the store without trying them on. I wasn't surprised to find out the job I had asked for had not been completed- the legs I had asked to be taken in were baggy and uneven and the waist where I had requested a zipper was too tight. Awful experience- a waste of money and time and I highly encourage anyone looking for a tailor to look elsewhere.

I went here due to the reviews... I was not disappointed. He's clearly been doing it forever, I had multiple trousers hemmed and fixed up, perfect. I had to wait in a lineup outside the little office but it was worth the wait. The ladies in front of me seemed to love their dresses that had been altered too. I came back 24 hours later, job done! Thanks Albert!
