Amazing work! I needed a bridesmaids dress altered (it was pretty snug) and only had 2 weeks to get it done before the wedding! She was able to let it out without adding any fabric or completely reconstructing the dress. Her work was quick and her price was fair and she had me in for a few fittings to make sure it was right. Couldn't be more disappointed with the service here. Had freshly dry cleaned and pressed suit pants let out only to receive back a horribly winkled mess. Honestly I have never seen these pants so wrinkled. Expensive suite pants were handed back stuffed in a bag. I'll take them somewhere else to get pressed again.

Sara altered my wedding dress last minute and changed the terrible straps that it had came with to nice lace straps that matched almost perfect and made a bustle for it. she has also altered many of my pants and other dresses for me in the past she is always quick, efficient and affordable if you need something altered in brantford she should be your first stop !

I called Sara in a panic when a large Bridal store cancelled my wedding dress alteration appointments due to the provincial lockdown, she got me in that very same day (before the lockdown) and kept in constant communication with me during the lockdown. When the lockdown was finally lifted it was only 2 weeks until my wedding and she was able to still get them done very quickly and did an excellent job! Very happy with the service received and the quality of the job done. This is why I will always go to a local business from now on instead of a box store. I highly recommend using Sara for your wedding alteration needs!

I Paid over $50 to have a duvet dry cleaned and it was returned to me in a state where I wondered if they cleaned it at all; multiple dirt and water spots remained and the duvet smelled the same as when I brought it in. I then took it to a trusted cleaner and they delivered what I was expecting. Ultimately; unsatisfactory, borderline fraudulent service is the reason for this 1 star review

Sarah is a miracle worker!! I’m in a wedding and we ordered the bridesmaid dresses online. Unfortunately my dress fit me terribly in all the wrong places. I was feeling really hopeless about the whole situation when I found Sarah on google. I went to her shop and she was incredable. She had me try on the dress and had tons of suggestions on how we could change it to tailor my body. I left the dress in her hands and 2 days later went to try it on, WOW, same dress but the changes she made, made all the difference! She is great. 10/10 would reccomend to anyone.

I recieived better service and workmanship than other shops in town I have used. The pants were tapered perfectly and altered exceptionally well. They followed his instructions perfectly, used the best possible lining material, and the stitching was perfect even where the inside pockets had to be removed and replaced! The jacket itself looked brand new when we got it back! Great job! Now he can keep his best friend around for another 12 years!

Sarah was kind, friendly, professional and knew exactly what I needed done to my wedding dress. Sarah explained everything to me and asked me questions to ensure that it was what I wanted. Some of her work included taking it in (which led to her having to remove and reattach the intricate beading), hemming the bottom, shortening the train, adjusting the sleeves, and adding a bustle to hold the train up while walking. Sarah informed me how long it would take for alterations and cleaning and was right on time! Sarah was also able to let me know of the cost ahead of time. It was my first time having alterations done and I'm glad that I chose Sara's Alterations! I will defiantly be using her services again and highly recommend her and her team to anyone! Had my winter jacket drycleaned. Cost me $29.00!!! If you like being ripped off, by all means, bring your stuff here. Her only explanation was that she doesn't do the drycleaning herself, but sends it out -- must be taking a hefty markup over what she paid out.

I leave in 4 weeks for my destination wedding. I purchased my dress way back in September and it was shipped to my house. 2 weeks ago I found Sara's on google and decided to contact her about doing some dress alterations. When I went to try on my dress for the first time in her fitting room I was mortified. The dress did not even come close to doing up. It was way too small. I have no idea what happened but I was 6 weeks away from my trip with a dress that doesn't fit. Sara was amazing. She was so calm and put my mind at ease. She explained her idea and reassured me that everything would be fine. I went yesterday to try it on and it's perfect. The cost of the alterations was less than what my bridesmaids paid elsewhere. I am now a lifetime customer. I highly recommend this place. Absolutely incredible!
