I've had alterations done here for years, and all the work has been completed accurately with great turnaround times. I don't ask about fees because they've been very fair. It's great to have a tailor who I trust that much.

Really bad experience with this place! brought my bridesmaids dress in to get it altered, costed me $82.00. (while other bridesmaids are getting it done for less than $50 dollars, and that's already the high end). Went in on a Wednesday afternoon, got a call on Thursday afternoon asking me to pay $20 more because there are 3 layers, and they didnt see that first time. I asked why is it so expensive compared to other places. They said, depends on what you are getting done. All other bridesmaids are just getting theirs hemmed (like me) and they did not have to pay $100 for alteration. I refused to pay that much! There are no prices posted in the store. I would say they are just making prices up!

Not to happy with the customer service. I feel as if they make up prices on the go. He roped me in on 2 suits to be tailored than after I paid he told me it was his last day before a summer break. Big mistake, I needed the suits for an upcoming event. After arguing with him, he said he would jimmy rig 1 suit for me to wear and finish it upon returning from the holidays. When I went back, I gave him the 2 suits to finish only to be charged again!! when my receipt clearly said 4 articles and I paid up the wazoo. No prices visible anywhere, they must make up the cost.

In reading the other reviews I would agree with most of them. 1. Prices aren’t posted. However I have been going for years and they are consistent. 2. The work in fantastic. I am sure you can go to some dry cleaner/ seamstress, or perhaps a place “in the mall”. But you get what you pay for. I have never been disappointed w the work. So if you have a nice peice you want done properly.... I highly recommend Spool and Needle. If you don’t care about quality and only price....then go to the mall and take your chances.

brought my grandsons pants to change the zipper, charged a fortune put on crooked would not zip up properly after 1 day the zipper broke brought it back she wanted to charge me another fortune go there if your fly has buttons now i see why you must pay in advance from Joe
