We have been going to RMS for tailoring for over 3 years and have always been happy with the service. Fareeza has done complicated work on suit jackets for my husband and challenging work on refitting dresses for me (including an asymmetrical dress). She has an expert eye and definitely knows what she is talking about. Whenever we discuss what we want to have done, Fareeza delivers. She is also very punctual and always ready with the alterations on the committed date. The hemming prices are competitive, although I'd say the tapering is pricey. That being said, StitchIt once messed up the tapering on my husband's dress pants so badly that they couldn't be salvaged. Given our previous experience, and the fact that we don't need tailoring services all the time, we feel that the superior quality is worth the peace of mind and the improved fit and look of the clothing. The location has changed recently. It is well kept and has a dressing room. Due to COVID, they take in one customer at a time and require appointments on weekends. Other than that, it's the same great service and quality we have come to expect at RMS.

I’ll start off with saying the customer service is amazing. I was greeted and acknowledged right when I walked in. I was accommodated by a lady (I think she is the owner). I came in expecting my order (alteration of blazer and pants) to be expensive but she gave me a great deal. To top that off, she told me she would try to get both items done in three days because I told her I needed it as soon as possible, which she stayed true to. When I came back to pick up, I was greeted by another worker and he was so friendly as well. I strongly recommend RMS Clothing because of their customer service, quality of alterations, and competitive prices!

Had to rush a dress alteration so I picked this place based on all the good reviews. When my boyfriend called and inquired on the price, he wasn't told of any rush charge or material charge and was told $40. So we went with it as we only had couple days to get it fixed. Upon arriving, the brown lady inspected my dress and said that its a slinky material so extra $20 charge as it is harder to sow. Then she said another $20 for rush charge and a $15 for the inner layer. Honestly, if we werent so in rush, we would go elsewhere! Anyways we paid for it and the $40 now turned into $113 for a simple length adjustment only. ( I didnt bring my heels however I let them know it would be a 5 inches high heel to get an idea. They told me to wear a pair of platform shoe sitting in the store for reference and I did however remind them again that mine is higher than that and is 5 inches high) Fast forward the day we went to get our dress- they cut my full length dress a little too short and it was no almost an ankle length. When told them about the length- the lady started defending herself and telling us she did a favor by doing our dress last min! No I paid you for the dress and for the rush! How in the world is that a favor! She even said "I don't like customers like this" right infront of us! Sure we complained but we have the right to if its not done to our liking because we paid for it! And her argument was that i didnt bring my shoes and kept comparing the length of the dress to the platform shoes in the store when I clearly told them mine is higher. She also was getting angry and arguing with us with her teeth clenched. Listen if you mess up somebody's dress, apologize and not clench your teeth at them and take their money too! The dress is ruined and now I have to wear flats with it or it looks weird. The son seemed to be more professional about the situation and wanted to rectify the issue however we didnot accept the $20 return as the dress was $360 and the bad service was $113 and $20 is far from enough to make the situation better in our opinion. There are so many seamstress near us and we drove a good distance to get to you. We are unhappy with the service and will not return and will spread the word. Unprofessionalism is the key here it seems!

I had two of my dress pants fitted for a more slim fit. One of them came out short after the alteration. I unfortunately did not have time to take it in right away but I am a repeat customer with other family members who also have work done on their clothes at RMS. I took in the pants, and upon arrival was immediately told about their 5 day policy - meaning have to bring it back within 5 days. Went on to offer to pay for re-alteration, but was told they were not able to complete any work until the following week ( I needed the pants that Sunday, and this is a Wednesday I went in). This is all fair, and some what understandable, even though I have given business before. As I was about to leave, I went on to explain the situation - just casual talk - that out of the two pants I had refitted, the first pair was perfect, but only this one was short. Had a very rude and negative response back - "I adjusted it to whatever the measurements were". Well who took the measurements? Definitely was not me - the point made was irrelevant. There was no acceptance of the fact that mistakes could have been made, and that it may need minor adjustment - unacceptable - just lost a few customers.

If I could give zero stars I would. We had them sew-in woven tags on 11 shirts and only TWO of the tops had the tags sewn in correctly. The others had the tags sewn on the front of the shirt & some on the bottom front. Also, 2 OF THE SHIRTS HAD SEWING NEEDLES IN THEM. We did not notice this right away because the shirts were neatly packed back into their original plastic packaging. Once we looked over the inventory we brought it back & the lady who had sewn them in denied it was her mistake & that we must’ve got them done somewhere else. Her son knew it was her, offered a refund & try to come up with a solution to fix it however ALL THE SHIRTS WOULD HAVE HOLES FROM WHERE THE TAGS WERE SEWN IN!!! They attempted to fix it, the shirts are still not in the perfect condition we gave them in AND 2 weeks later, STILL NO REFUND. 09/14/20 To your response: Not sure what you mean by the "offer still stands". I was told to leave my email to be e-transferred over 2 weeks ago and you guys have my contact information.

Very good experience on my first visit. I had to get a formal suit trouser tapered and altered. The price seemed a bit high at the first but they are really good at what they do so its all value for the money. They did a great job but i changed my mind and thought of getting my pants more short after the alteration(which they did it for free and on the spot in 5 mins). Would surely recommend to all.

The lady running the business is rude as hell. She acts as if she is the only game in town. She gives the rates based on how desperate you seem. The good reviews are either fake or because of customer service from the son who comes to rescue from time to time. There are so many other places out there who may not have the reviews this place bought but surely has the ability and reasonableness. All bad reviews are about bad behaviour of the lady. Yet nothing changes. The owner seems to find a way to get several fake reviews as they popped up immediately after my review. The owner has taken no route to apologize for bad behaviour though they know who I am. Rather are now harassing me.

The lady who does alteration is rude. Prices are ridiculous. For example, they quote $25 per armpit alteration! They make you feel that they are doing you favor by taking on your alteration (even when you are the one paying and they are giving services). Stay away.

The lady there thinks she is know it all. Has extreme high temper. She is very passive aggressive and almost a bully. She claims "some of this work is not worth my time" - but she runs this business and asks for crazy monies that I have never seen an alterations place ask! She thinks she is a gift to everyone who goes there and everyone some how owes it to her. If you question her rates or ask one extra question which she doesnt approve, she starts passively insulting.

They have good reviews for a reason. Excellent location and great customer service. I have gotten my pants tapered and altered at RMS on two occasions and both times the work done was excellent. Plus they are able to alter clothes really quickly without sacrificing on the quality. If you are in the Brampton region I doubt you will find a better place to take your clothes.
