ZERO STARS!!!!!! Came to Sootz for a custom tux for my husband, to be worn on our wedding reception night. So disappointed with the product itself, the customer service and overall attitude. The customizations were supposed to be a) tailored to fit the person they measured the tux (this should be obvious, no?) and b) custom inside lining. a) The fit was horrible. The material - cheap. Not sure how measurements were taken, but we went back time and time again, spent countless hours in the shop trying to get the fitting right. Each time we went back, previous changes that were asked to make (fixing of lapelles, tux vest, fitting of jacket) were not done. b) The "custom" lining was completely botched. We had sent a picture, and we were to receive a mock-up of what the lining would look like. Did not receive a mock-up. Instead, got a call that the tux was ready and when we went in to look at the lining it was absolutely horrible. Right away we asked them to change the lining since we never received a mock-up and thus, never approved the customization (with enough time to fix a lining since external vendors were more than happy and willing to help fix the lining). Each time we went back it was a new issue. And previous issues were never resolved. Lastly, the overall experience: WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Time consuming and stress inducing experience. We were finally told the week of our wedding, after going through SO much with this vendor, that they refuse to fix the custom tux. We were left with 5-6 days to go find another tux in the midst of the busiest week of our lives. Also, had to fight for the refund that was promised. We ended up purchasing a tux off the rack at a random shop at the mall. Ironically, the tux off the rack fit 100x better than the custom tux these guys were supposed to produce ever fit.

Although the transaction may have not been ideal. GT ultimately made up for it by giving me a second blazer at no cost and a partial refund. The blazers look amazing and were made perfectly to fit my body there was no need for extra fittings/alterations, which saves a lot of time. I look forward to wearing these quality blazers for years to come.

Worst possible experience with this place. They unapologeticlly ruined my brother-in-law's suit (the groom!!). We put in the order for the suit well in advance, and they promised to meet the customization requests. Every time we went in for a followup, we'd point out the concerns (fitting, lapels too big, poor stitching), but they continued to make promises to make it better, but they never were able to. Fitting was horrible (tailor did fitting many times, but somehow never got it right), quality of suit fabric was poor, and customization details did not meet our basic requests. They left us without a reception suit for the groom just 6 days his reception. This is by far the worst vendor during the wedding process - not because the suit didn't go right, but because their attitude and customer service was unacceptable.

Order with sootz online. Send them my size and asked to be shipped to the US All I had to do was just adjust the length on my pants and slightly tighter fit in the waist line which was not expensive. Very satisfied will be ordering more soon

Terrible customer service. He showed up 30 minutes late to our first meeting and did not apologize.We ordered 5 suits from him and were told they would be ready in 3 weeks, however he stopped answering our phone calls and replying to our messages. I ordered my brother a suit from him for my pre wedding party and did not receive it in time.

Ordered 6 suits (one for myself and 5 groomsmen). Fitting was amazing for all suits. We never purchased custom before so we were a bit nervous as to the turn out as it was just a swatch we were looking at. The custom options were great as well as all groomsmen picked their own liner. I'll definitely be back in the future for more custom suits. Highly recommend SOOTZ!

For $500, I was able to get a custom suit and shirt and it was delivered to me in under two weeks. The suit and shirt fit amazing and I've received many compliments. If I could I would give them a 0/5 they are extremely unprofessional. When we initially walked into their store, it looks nothing like what they have portrayed on their website, they had two people assisting a customer, but they could not pay much attention to us as we weren't giving them a huge order for a wedding attire. They took my husbands measurements and told him it would be ready in two weeks. My husband contacted them on week 3 and they told him it would be another week until the shirts are ready. My husband called them again on week 4, they would not pick up their phones or return messages. The order was supposed to be through groupon but instead they wanted us to pay them directly and not pay through groupon. Finally my husband asked for a refund after 5 weeks. They said it will take 5 days to do the refund. Two weeks had passed and we heard nothing from them, after two weeks my husband followed up with them and he finally got the refund. I would recommend to stay away from "Sootz" their excuse was that they were too busy and couldn't get his shirts done. Why take the order if you cannot deliver?

Horrible customer service. Here’s a quick recap of experience: 1. They made the incorrect colour for my groom suit 2. Unrealistic timelines given. Was told numerous times that the suit will be in on a particular date - went in each time and the suits were not ready. 3. Lack of communication 4. Suits that were ready for pickup were not even finished (missing buttons, incorrect buttons) 5. Was told we picked the “cheap suits” and that’s why the quality was not there If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible horrible horrible. Please stay away if possible. You are better off going to Indochino and not wasting your time and money here.

Me and my husband came in to get him a custom suit as he is a bigger guy and does not normally fit into readymade suits in stores. When we came in for the fitting the suit fit perfectly and I could tell he was very impressed and he had never felt that way previously when buying a suit. We recently just sent over our entire family to get their suits made for a upcoming wedding and they all came out just as good as the first time. Great service with great pricing check out their store in Brampton!

I was part of a wedding party that used Sootz for the groomsmen's outfits just prior to COVID. It wasn't until I tried on my suit from Sootz for the first time since the wedding, that I realized I hadn't actually posted a review for GT and his company. After having an appointment with GT where he took each of our measurements, it was almost impressive to see that upon first receiving our custom, made to order suits, each of the 10 groomsmen's suit measurements were wrong. I mean, unable to fit arm in jacket and leg in pant, wrong. To make matters worse, the colour was wrong as well. We had ordered 10 grey suits, but the colour that was delivered was actually about 15 shades too light. Colour aside, we were close enough to the wedding date that we just wanted to get the suits fixed. So, almost all of the suits were sent back to be recut (I think one or two were sent back to be remade entirely). This part was all fine. GT was still available and had the suits recut. What made it almost laughable was that on the second iteration, it was STILL wrong! Some got worse even. My arm holes were so tight I could only shake hands using my pinky. The legs on my pants were so tight, it was as-if he special ordered Pete Wentz' pant cut from 2007. It was at this point where GT started avoiding phone calls, texts, and e-mails. But with the wedding coming up, time was of the essence, so I took my suit to be refitted by an actual tailor. This at least helped me fit into my suit for wedding photos and ensured I wouldn't split my pants on the dance floor (which happened to several other groomsmen at the wedding). The quality of the suits were as expected. Cheap, but honestly that's what we signed up for when going with a company called SOOTZ. In terms of the service provided by GT, this was easily the worst, most unprofessional service I've ever received, in any department. I mean, the people working with the Canada Revenue Agency call scams treat you with more respect than we as a wedding party received from GT. With each round of ill-fitting suits being delivered, he became became more and more like Brampton's Carmen San Diego. We finally made it the wedding date, however, and while not perfect, the groomsmen were able to fit into their suits for pictures and the ceremony. It only took until the third song of the night (Shout! - of course) where the first pants split. Then the second, then third, and so on. It seemed like all but 3-4 of the suits provided by SOOTZ had split or ripped by the end of the evening. After many attempts to follow-up with GT, we were finally assured that those with ripped suits could take them back to him to be fixed. However, when trying to organize a date and time to bring them in, he once again disappeared, never to be heard from again. All that to say - stay away from Sootz. Horrible name. Horrible company. Horrible suits. Would give 0 stars if it was an option.

My experience with Sootz was extremely disappointing. If I could give them no stars I would. They have the worst customer service skills and little to no communication with customers. They ignored messages and did not respond, even though I messaged and called multiples times. Do not expect to get your order on time

A real tailoring experience! I've been to other custom suit shops that just take couple of measurements and pick fabrics and the fittings are non existent. The team here guided me through all the fabrics and helped designed my suit from scratch. There were some minor alterations but the tailor turned it out around pretty quickly. ????????

The honest Truth! The owner really needs to work on his customer service. He over promises and definitely under delivers. For those looking to get suits made here it is very important to know that this is a ONE man team. As a result, many of the suits DON'T get made on time. When the customer address there concerns about the suits being ready in time, they are told its only a concern for "Fat People". There is definitely a lack of communication on the owners part. Rarely does he provide updates on the progress (or lack of) of the suit. It's up to the customer to constantly call or text to see if the suit will be ready in time. This is often met with no responses or any reply to the text messages. I understand this is a new store but the owner has lots of growing to do before this can ever be successful. To the owner I would ask what is the point of providing a suit to the customer after the date they needed it? What is the point of having the customer constantly stressing over their order without any communication? Rather than taking on new customers and misleading them on false delivery dates just be honest and just say you won't be able to take their order. At the very least, learn to communicate with your customers. To you it may be just another order. But to the customer it is something they need for their special event (anything from weddings to receptions). Also stop lying to your customers and give them refunds when refunds are justified.

I hope nobody has to experience what I went through with this company. Our group ordered 5 suits in the first of June for our cousins wedding. GT said the turnaround time would take 3 weeks MAX so were expecting our suits to be ready by the end of the month with plenty of time left before the wedding. A few weeks go by and I tried to follow up with GT about our order and never got any response. it took him 9 days to reply to my missed calls and text messages meanwhile he was posting everyday on social media. At this point 5 weeks have gone by and the wedding is less than a month away, we were promised to have our suits by now! After 6 rough weeks of trying to contact GT he lied to us again about our suits. He said mid July they would all be ready in a few days but it ended up being another 2 weeks! Always got excuses like the fabric wasn't in stock, shipping problems, had to check in with his production team, suits were stuck at customs, etc. Be prepared to chase GT a lot, he does not care about his customers, he will try and get you to pay in full but don’t fall for it, he will take your money and never reply!! Its the week of the wedding, 10 weeks have passed and we are all beginning to panic, he has only given us 1/5 suits as the rest of us are STILL WAITING with only 4 days left until our event. 2 of the suits fit horribly and my cousins didnt fit. My cousins were forced to buy suits off the rack. 10 weeks and he still couldn't have the suits ready. I really hope nobody has to experience what I went through, nobody should have this much stress during a family members wedding. Don't beleive any of the 5 star reviews, he calls out all the people leaving one star reviews, those are the ones you should trust, many of us shared a similar experience.

I would never go to this guy again. By far the worst customer service I have experienced in my life. All GT does is ignore phone calls and texts. He did not have the suit ready for my event and I had to go to the mall to buy one the day of. I guarantee any timeline he gives will be false and youll be left chasing this guy for weeks. I would not listen to any 5 star reviews because he just asks his friends to post them.
