I brought in my winter coat to be relined after the original lining started to go, and I left getting it done until the weather had started to turn. My normal tailor was unable to get to it as soon as I'd have liked, but they suggested the Russian Tailor as an alternative. The job itself was a somewhat involved one, doing a full coat lining replacement while retaining the original inside pockets and labels. The price was quite fair, and it really didn't take too long (I elected to order a fabric pattern in, and everything only took a hair over two weeks, including transit time for the fabric). The end result was excellent, turnaround time was excellent, quality of work was excellent, and it's breathed new life into my winter coat in time for the colder weather.

I have had four different pairs of pants tailored there and every single pair has been perfectly done. I barely even had to communicate what I wanted with her - she is so talented and could almost read my mind before I said anything. Both Irina and her husband are so friendly, kind, and efficient as well. You'll have a great customer experience if you go there. I STRONGLY recommend them for any tailoring work you need done. There is so much talent and care going into their work.

Needed my suit altered and they had it back to me a week later just in time for my event, which was perfect. Excellent job on the tailoring as well, my pieces look fantastic. I don't often get things altered so I don't know how reasonable it is, I paid around $100 for 3 items and I am happy paying that price knowing my expensive items are in good hands.

A few months ago my fiance and I came in to Russian Tailor to get our wedding attire prepared for our wedding coming up. I got my mother in law's 80's dress altered and modified to exactly what I imagined! Irena pays very good attention to detail, and went above and beyond my expectations for the dress. She also made a custom suit for my fiance. He loves it! Irena payed special attention to our needs and helped to make adjustments. She was friendly and assisted in choosing the materials. Irena even made us custom masks for our special day! Irena will tailor to your needs, could not reccomend enough!

This is a fantastic shop. I highly recommend it to anyone needing alterations big or small. I came in to get my jeans hemmed and my order was taken cheerfully and done quickly (especially since I needed the jeans the next day and asked the owners to rush the job). Speaking of the owners, they are an adorable, very friendly couple that's an utter pleasure to talk to. They have a great sense of humour (just read some of their replies to some of these reviews). Next time you need some tailoring work done, choose The Russian Tailor without a second thought!

I cannot say enough good things about Irina and her husband at The Russian Tailor. They are incredibly talented, professional, kind, and hardworking. You can tell they are extremely passionate about their work - it shows in the amazing job that they do for their customers. Irina saved my wedding day by altering my dress in the four weeks leading up to my wedding. Even though she had limited time and options with my dress, she seriously worked miracles. I've had two pairs of pants, two skirts, and a coat tailored here and they fit perfectly! Given the amount of work that was done on each item, the price was super reasonable too! I second what the reviewer below said- I barely had to verbalize what I wanted, she knew exactly what to do to make the clothing fit right. Highly recommend this place, they do an amazing job.

Very reasonable custom tailoring, great service. Good for alterations as well, typically a bit more expensive than the retailer's in house tailor, but generally better quality.
