Above and beyond! I forgot a set of keys in a jacket that needed the zipper repaired. Not only did I receive a phone call letting me know where my keys were, but my zipper repair was bumped up and done by the time I came back the next day to pick up the keys! Zipper works perfectly now!

I've had really good luck with the Downtown Cobbler in the last couple of years, after the ownership changed. Before that I got a couple pairs of pants back with crappy repairs. But recently everything has been solid and reasonable. DC has also done. some really good patches on jeans for me... ones that really last.

Aida Flores made a custom wedding gown for me from photos I sent her in advance. Being a wedding planner myself, I knew exactly where to go! Mine was a custom made dress, made to my measurements and looked absolutely stunning. All of the guests were asking where I got my dress from, it was a one-of-a-kind piece that I knew no one would have ever seen before and the best part is, I spent a fraction of the price that it would have cost me to buy a new dress off the rack and have it altered. Her shop also altered a dress for my mother and pants for my sister and the quality of work is not to be compared. I recommend her shop to all my bridal clients, take my word, this is the best place in Ottawa for custom designs, alterations, dry cleaning and shoe repair.
