I would give 0 star if I can. I asked her to make up the this hole on the picture and I found out the linen was different color than original after leaving the place without checking it. I went back and asked to redo the work. She refused and said she had no such linen matched the color. You don’t suppose to do the work if don’t have the color of linen! Then I asked for a refund, she only gave me $2 of refund! What a customer service! I also asked her to REPLACE the zippers on my two pairs of paints. The work didn’t seems properly completed. I felt the zippers were the original ones without replaced. It seems she just did some REPAIR work on it.

I have had pants hemmed and tapered, a vest taken in, and blazers altered by Hong Hoa and I will be giving them all my business from now on! They do a wonderful job, at a very fair price and the staff is very helpful and kind. Also, they keep very convenient hours so its never a hassle to drop things off or pick them up.

Amazing prices for tailoring and dry cleaning! A heads up that it’s cash only. And seeing from this hours of operations sign she has up, the store is open Tuesday to Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM.

0 stars. I read on the storefront sign and also from reviewers that she had a very fast turnaround, so I took a dress to her Tuesday morning which needed the straps slightly altered. Owner was not friendly nor warm towards me. She asked me when I needed the dress done, and I told her Saturday if possible. She basically shooed me out of her shop rudely and abruptly, saying she was too busy to do it. Had she been kind about it, I wouldn’t have minded. But I don’t recommend this shop to anyone based solely on her rudeness. I really wish I experienced the same positive experiences other reviewers provided, but that was definitely not the case.

Hong Hoa Alterations is a gem that's hidden in Chinatown that does alterations with precision, speed, convenience, and at a price that can't be matched anywhere else in Calgary. I have had many pairs of dress pants altered and even my suit dry cleaned. I was shocked at the speed of the service and can definitely say that I no longer need to go to any other alteration store. If Hong Hoa claimed to be the second best alteration store in Calgary, nobody would dare claim first.

This place is a low key, get the job done, great priced shop. It's a little hard to find, but it's well worth the hunt. They're quite busy and it took longer than I wanted, but for $8/hem, you can't go wrong. The quality of the stitch is great too.

I will never go anywhere else! They are so so nice and so helpful. Not only did they have the best PRICE out of the multiple stores I called in Calgary, but they were also the fastest! They did my bridesmaid dress perfectly. No concerns and no complaints! I will be going back there for everything I need in the future and would recommend this place! Its a little tricky to find, but it is soooo worth it!!! Thank you so much for the speedy and quality work!
