I got a pair of jeans tailored a while back. They were still baggy after I tapered them. Also, when you go in the guy working there kinda acts like he doesn't care. At a professional place, they will put pins when you try it on so you get an idea how you want it to look. The guy working there was just like yea we will taper it... Anyways, might as well save your money and go somewhere better.

They did a nice job tailoring some pants but the communication was definitely lacking. I was told that they'd call when the pants were ready (no call after twice the expected time), I tried calling multiple times (no amswer), left a message (no response), and then just went in and interrupted someone's fitting session to get my pants.

I walked by the shop after hours on my way home from Nordstrom, taking a look at all the nice jackets in the window. I took a photo for reference later to remember the shop, as I wanted to come in for a custom suit when it was open, but staff were just staring at me suspiciously. I don’t think they would be friendly to Indigenous customers, as I was just admiring from the window and they were looking at me like a criminal. I was really looking forward to having my first custom suit but I didn’t feel comfortable with the way they gawked at me for simply looking in the window.

They have a very good understanding of modern fit - they are able to tailor in a way that is slim streamlined fit without going overboard. Highly recommend Ramy's services! I was in need of a custom 3-piece suit for my sister's wedding in October, and came to Ramy with a relatively tight timeline. Whereas other tailors in the city had very limited options given the timeframe, Ramy's selection was much more diverse and unique (not to mention he had Harris Tweed at hand).
