I took my Ikea curtains to get shortened at Mike alterations. I got them back wrinkled and uneven, almost each drape was a different length than the other. I will never go back there for sure.

Guy seemed nice enough, made a joke about selling my item if I didn't pick up when they called. They never called. I called after a while he was very rude, told me the card he gave me clearly stated they don't call (it did not). He was quite rude to me on the phone and when I went to pick up the dress (which I will be wearing on my wedding day) it was crumpled in the bottom of a plastic bag and dirty. I now need to get the stitching taken out and redone by a better tailor because it doesn't fit properly, I also have to get it cleaned and pressed because obviously it's wrinkled after spending time crumpled in the bottom of a bag and now it's all a rush job. He cost more than he said he would, he didn't do a good job, and I now have extra costs. Don't go here.

This place is good but they are always in a rush. Two times now they have hemmed my pants too short and or have screwed up something because they are always in a rush. When they do get it right they do a phenomenal job thus why I go back but they should really take an extra minute with clients. Literally they take 20-30 seconds assuming what you want and not taking the time to listen to what your are looking for. SO: Yes they are good, but YOU have to stop them and explain at least twice if not more what you want every time.

Mike is amazing. He's confident, efficient, and so friendly and helpful. I had a sheer back wedding dress that was too snug around the waist. He searched everywhere for matching fabric to the sheer but couldn't find it so we made an executive decision and turned it into an open back dress. TURNED OUT GORGEOUS. Prices are reasonable and he's wonderful. Definitely going back!

The zipper on my coat broke off. He fixed it in short order, and made adjustments when it didn't work, without complaint. Replacing the zipper machine, was fast and inexpensive.

I'm picky and 80% of the time I'm pleased. I've noticed that a couple of his original hems have been slightly crooked but not terribly noticeable on my jeans. He once corrected the length on two pairs of jeans while I waited because they were still too long when I tried them. Great service. I will note however that they seem very rushed as of late and I've had to bring back a couple items to be fixed (ie. Brought 2 pants in 1" instead of out 1", leather jean label applied upside down) . Do note that Mike is always willing to fix the issue and is easy to deal with.

WATCH OUT OF THE FAKE REVIEWS. He can't even get a straight stitch right, and he charges unreasonable amounts of money. I know this from a friend's experience who told me about having a row with him, and when I arrived at his shop for the second time today, he was having a row with another customer. Avoid.

I took a dress here for alterations in Oct 2017 (taken in on the sides of the bodice). It was altered with perfection. Do not be intimidated by the atmosphere (was all men working and men there getting alterations when I was there. So I was apprehensive about a dress). Well, it came back perfect!!! (and within two weeks - but make sure to ask as they are busy). I was also surprised, as the dress looked difficult to alter (was all lace). The man who fitted me was fast, stuck in a few pins and off I went. I was a little worried as he was so fast and didn't ask me what I liked. Shows you they know their stuff. I will be back. Based on other reviews if you want them to take it slow, just ask questions during and such.
