Very nice lady, but I brought my jeans in to get taken in at the waist, and she just folded the fabric over at the hips and stitched it together.. It was a very odd way of doing it. When I came to pick them up she argued that this was the more professional method! Funny. I had to undo it myself at home and take them somewhere else to get done properly, at the back, following the curve of the spine. I don’t think I’ll go back there.

I recently brought in two tops for alterations and they both turned out wonderfully! I was a little nervous about one because it was a handmade corset-style top made from recycled tapestry, which I thought would be tricky to alter. But it turned out better than I could have imagined and fits like a glove! Very reasonable price and a quick turnover. I will definitely return for future alterations!

The owner is really nice and professional. I brought in 4 pairs of pants for length alternations and 1 pair of pants for sewing a hole. When I went there, she let me try on the pants and gave me advice about the alternations. I am very happy with the outcome of the alternations and fixing. Let me start this review by saying that I've been to this store many, many times. The owner has done such a great job with alterations on my multiple blazers, I ended up bringing more and more, even the ones that I contemplated on getting fixed (i.e. off-the-rack winter jacket with way too long sleeves for me). This is definitely a place to go if you are looking for a great tailor!
