Paul Timpano treated my wedding party and I like family. The shop was busy with other fittings and he still made us feel extremely important. He definitely knows what he talking about when it's comes to all formal wear. His wife who also runs the store really makes you feel at home and she knows her colour palette. As a guy I had no idea there was more than one type of white. She took care of all the details and took away all the stress of not having a clue of what woman want. Between the two of them they make the best team and made the entire wedding party look amazing. Thank you so much Timpano formal wear!! You blew the other formal wear places I've ever been to out of the water. We will certainly be using your services again can't wait to for the next fitting. I even love the quality of suits they have. Go check them out you won't be disappointed!!

When my wife and I decided to get Married she was excited about going dress shopping. (much more than I was about getting Tux's). Little did I know that going to Timpano was going to be one of the best decisions I made. He had me and my 3 groomsman measured in less than 5 mins. they had a great selection and best of all he was super with my wife when she had questions. (about matching her dress etc) They stayed late to accommodate because we call worked out of town. Probably the biggest and most memorable moment was when I popped in to pick up the tux's he said that if I have any problems to call him. (what an amazing company) if there were 10 stars this one deserves it.

Absolutely terrible. Gave the guy my measurements and he demanded I come into the store on a long weekend to get fitted. There was no custom fitting. $220 for a Chinese made suit you can literally buy on amazon for $150. 220 x 8 guys for one night .... I'm in the wrong business

I had a handmade dirtbike baby boy tie made for my son's first birthday cake smash photos and it was beyond what I imagined. It has an adjustable clip on it so it will last him many years to come. The customer service, quality, time line and pricing was amazing. Thank you for the speedy and friendly service! Paul helped make my son's first birthday special and one of a kind with this adorable bowtie. We have now purchased 4 more baby bow ties for my little guy and will always bring our future business here. Once again, Thank-you Paul!

Not a great experience. We drive up from Toronto on a Saturday. Got there around 2:30pm only to find out they'd closed shop early. Posted hours were til 5pm. Also don't seem to interested in fitting you, they just want you to buy something and go to the guy next door to get alterations. "Use a belt" gee thanks, why didn't I think of that?

Had the pleasure of using timpano's for my suit and all the guys in mine and my wife's wedding... awesome experience. Paul and his wife went above and beyond to make sure our special day went on without a problem. They even came out to the hotel we stayed at hours before the wedding to deliver my father in-law a new tie, and while they were there, Cassandra even fixed my brother's outfit up and made him look the best he could . They also came out a second time to bring a new shirt for my dad because he stained his. I will highly recommend this place to anyone. Best service ever!

The suit provided to me was stained and clearly not checked before given to me. Upon returning the suit, I was given a $50 “refund”. Several days later I checked my bank account and noticed that I was charged an extra $50 instead of being refunded. Glad I double checked my account because I would have just assumed there would be no financial mistakes after receiving a refund. Not to mentioned the 1.5 hours I spent waiting to be fitted. Just an overall bad experience and nothing but a hassle that costed more than was advertised.

I tried a few times to get into the store with my fiancé, but the hours for the store seem absolutely random sometimes. They'll close early or open late whenever the owner feels like it apparently, regardless of posted hours - beyond that the only time I managed to actually get into the store, I found the owner to be very standoff-ish. Not personable and not great customer service. The products don't look professional, and if their promise of "one-day ordering" is as reliable as their store hours, it can only end in disaster. We wound up going to Collins down the street - staff was MUCH friendlier. Steer clear of Timpanos friends.

Had to visit Timpano’s to buy my son his confirmation outfit. Paul had the store on Bayfield under renovations but suggested I go see Megan at Loved Again Bridal Boutique. I’d say about 1/4 of her location had suits and tuxedos for the groom, men of a bridal party or even just for a young man like my little tenor. From the minute we walked in, Megan served us with a smile, and such kindness and patience. Let me just say, Megan knows her products. We were in and out in 30 minutes. Now, my son, who’s usually very shy and reserved, walked in with such boldness; greeted her and pointed to the suit he wanted. I was amazed. I cannot wait to see him in the suit with his Blue on white on black custom order Nikes. They say , every girls crazy about a sharp dressed man ! My little man has stolen my heart. The service and commitment to customer satisfaction was second to none. Paul even met me on the highway on a day off just to make sure that my groomsmen had the right size shoes. We were a motley crew of fellas and sizing, alterations, pickups and payments were all centred around our needs and capabilities. We used Timpano Bridal for our wedding in April 2012 and where very happy with the quality of the tuxedo's and the service. Two of my groomsmen couldn't make the scheduled fitting day which was a bummer but the owner of Timpano contacted them personally and arranged a time that worked for them. This was a huge relief for me because I wanted the guy's to see the tuxedos and give their opinion. The tuxedo's where quality material and there was absolutely nothing wrong with them. Myself, my groomsmen and most importantly my now Wife where all happy with our look. The owner was easy to get a hold of, answered all of our questions, met when it was convenient for us (mostly on weekends) and the price was right. I would recommend Timpano Bridal to anyone in Barrie and the surrounding area.

We had just 1 week until a wedding and they helped us pick out suits(jacket, pants, shirt, tie and pocket square) fit us and did alterations. Amazing service. I had the misfortune of having to rent what amounted to a glorified suit from this company for my brother's wedding a few weeks ago, $258.00 for six hours of wear. When I arranged to drop in for a fitting as I was coming from two hours away, who I assume was the owner was in the middle of a conversation with an employee. While being fitted, the owner continued his conversation with the employee barely making eye contact with me at all. Despite me having given them my measurements before hand, the shirt was two sizes too big, but the shoes fit perfectly (I take a size 11). The employee made some, quite frankly, awkward comments about how I could 'go down to Barrie lakeshore and pickup all the bikini girls down there looking like that." Very unprofessional. The day of the wedding when all the groomsmen had their suits on we discovered two of us had tuxedo shirts and three of us had regular shirts... all the suits were different shades of grey... and were two different styles with some cuffs being hidden beneath the sleeves and some sticking out. I also discovered that the mandatory shoe rental (which was unnecessary because I had my own shoes but were forced into the package) were a size too small. I had phoned up a few days before to say that I did not need to rent shoes and was told on the phone by the clerk that that was perfectly fine and the shoes would be knocked off... only to have the owner call back a few hours later to say 'no, the shoes are part of the package and can't be knocked off the price.' To say I am unimpressed would be an understatement. I strongly do not recommend this company.

GO SEE PAUL!! My wife and I were married in May (2018). I visited stores all over Barrie, Orillia, Toronto in search of Groomsmen suits. Finally we decided to check out Timpanos and are very happy we did. Paul was fantastic. More than half of my groomsmen were from out of Province. Paul went over and above to help. He was willing to handle their fitting via phone or FaceTime. He provided an extra pair of pants for one whom he was concerned about the fit. One groomsmen arrived 1 day before the wedding and Paul called in a favor to a tailor for last minute alterations. Etc.etc. Everything arrived very quickly. Suits were of great quality and it was hard to beat their price. With the amazing service we received we would definitely recommend Timpanos to anyone. It is unfortunate that a few reviews state their experience was less than desirable but I'm confident that these are one offs, certainly not indicative of how they run their business or the experience you should expect to encounter.

My wife and I got married on May 21st of this year. My groomsmen and I got our tuxes at Timpano's. Paul was very patient with my group and he made us all look great. We only had one minor problem and I think two of my groomsmen may have got their pants mixed up - otherwise, we looked great! I would highly recommend Timpano's for any formal event. Excellent Service! The owners were great right from the start. I walked in having no idea what I was doing or what I wanted! They helped me pick out all the suits I needed for my wedding party. They were super patient with me and took time to show me all the options available. I shopped around for different prices, as I was torn between renting and buying. Timpanos had the best prices and everyone was happy because they kept everything they paid for. Each of the guys got brand new pants, a shirt, a jacket, shoes and an awesome custom bowtie for a great combined price! Mr. Timpano gave me the most professional experience I could have wanted for getting a suit for my wedding. I know very little about suits themselves and he never once talked in a way that made me feel uncomfortable or like I was being taken advantage of. He works as he talks and I got a positive experience while he took measurements and made adjustments. I don't plan on getting married again but for all my future suit needs Mr. Timpano will definitely be my first contact.

I bought two suits here for general suit needs so I was not in a rush to have them. "buy one get one free" it cost about $550 the suits had to be sent out to be tailored which is to be expected. They fit great and look awesome. I have owned other suits that I got from other stores for $100 price range and they are junk compared to these. If you needed a suit on the spot you might be out of luck but that's your bad planning and not the stores fault. If your like me and didn't need them for anything too specific or asap you'll be fine and you'll love the suits. They are a little hard to get a hold of but I just had to call back a few times and got through.

I came here for my wedding party rentals. Not only was he accommodating to everyone's schedule, he had a great selection, and went over and beyond to make sure everyone was happy with what they were wearing. He made sure to ask the right questions, and didn't leave out any details when planning. On top of it all, his prices are very competitive. I was in a wedding and had to rent from Moore's, not only did they screw up the rentals of many of the groomsmen, but they also were way more expensive, and really rude. Timpanos is very professional, and really nice. With all the stress involved in weddings, he made sure that the experience was easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended! I'd give him more than 5 stars if I could.

I am the longest active Snooker Referee in Canada and wearing a tuxedo for every snooker match for the past 38 years. Last year I was chosen for 1 of 4 Referees to officiate The World Senior Snooker Qualifiers to play at The Crucible in Sheffield England. This is the first time ever in Canada that the winner could end up winning the World Senior Snooker Championship Trophy. What a great honour to be 1 of 4 referees chosen for this event, I then knew I had to look sharp so I went to Paul Timpano Suit and Tux. at 360 Bayfield Street North in Barrie. Paul himself with 40 years of supplying tuxedos for 1000’s of events took on the challenge to make me the best dressed referee at Corner Bank Sports Bar & Grill in Toronto for the snooker event. Jason Francis the tournament director from England on the last day asked me if I would do the next Qualifier in Huston Texas, with no hesitation I accepted his offer.
