Brought in a dress purchased online to have it pulled in a little and the sleeves tightened. I have to admit, I was a little nervous as it took the lady only a minute to decide what needed to be done, and no pins were used. I came back a week later and my dress fit like a glove! I'm very happy with the service here and will be back with future alterations.

These guys make sure to go above and beyond to ensure you get exactly what you want! I brought a vest from the mall that was too small. I needed to add some material so it would fit. They went out of their way to find the same exact colour and pattern material so it would match! Once I tried it on after they completed it was a bit too big. Without hesitation the took it back and made it the perfect size in just a few hours for no extra charge! Great family business will 100% return!

I don’t get much tailoring done so I took a chance on FIX Tailoring. I can’t say just how absolutely pleased I was with the quality job done on my winter coat...the lining had ripped and frayed. The job was perfect, I can’t see the difference between the rest of the coat. He told me when I could pick it up and it was ready. Such a nice gentleman and really talented. I have a few more things I would like done and I’m definitely going to Fix. The price was also very reasonable... Thank you so much I really love the coat and was so worried about it at first. I wish I could show the before and after pics as they say more than words.

One of the best, i been going there for over a year now and had many jeans tailored to my exact lenght. Also fixed and replace the zipper on one of my favourite sweater. They also sized my baggy hoodies to fit me properly, made my my work pants wider, ive put them to the test and every time i come to pick up, the results are amazing. I went into today for the first time to get a pair of pants hemmed and to get a zipper replaced on a jacket. The owner was there and assisted me. He was very professional, took the time to show me the options for the zippers, explained the cost and the benefits of one over the other. He also had me try on the pants to ensure that the length would be perfect. I will update the review once I pick everything up, however I have had a great experience, so far, and would recommend this business to anyone needing tailoring services! Highly recommend!

I have a beautiful skirt but the zipper kept coming apart. I thought I had to have the entire zipper replaced, which would’ve been expensive. The owner was very honest and kind, told me the zipper didn’t need to be replaced, and that the issue was only with the slider. I picked it up a couple days later and it works like new! He was very kind, professional, and most importantly: honest. The price was also better than other places. I can’t wait to be a return customer to support this amazing business!

They are very friendly and the service is really good. I had my zipper on my Columbia coat replaced and it looks better than the original zipper that came with the coat. First time customer. Brought in a wool cashmere overcoat that had the lining falling apart and torn in quite a few places. They explained how they would replace the lining completely with durable strong material, fix the pockets, install two new inside breast pockets. They also ended up replacing the loose buttons and small tear at the back. The coat looks brand new and the work completed in due time as promised. I'm so happy that I don't have to spend more money on another coat and look forward to rocking my new and improved coat for years to come. Wow had a great experience, went in to have a zipper replaced in a winter jacket. Turns out it was just the clips that were no good. Expected next day to be finished and he had it done in 15 minutes. Very polite and helpful. I will only go here from now one. Great job thanks

I took a t-shirt with a tear on it to be mended, after having been told at Stitch It at Georgian Mall that they couldn't do anything with it. The gentleman there took the time to explain my options and said to leave it there and he would stitch it up for me in half an hour. It was ready on time and I was only charged $5 for the repair job. I dropped a bridesmaids dress off over a month ago to ensure everything was done in time. It was a very simple job as there is no detailing on the dress. I needed the straps shorten, the bottom hemmed and cups put in. The straps and hem line look fine, the cups on the other hand look terrible. I purchased the only two styles of cups available to ensure I got the correct ones. I asked the woman which ones would work best and confirmed it was possible to have done. She confirmed it could be done and told me which ones would be best. I left my dress there trusting it would be completed properly. Fast forward to 5 days before I have to leave for the wedding.. I had to ask my partner to pick it up as I had no free time to go. As soon as I took the dress out of the bag I could tell it wasn't nearly the quality I had hoped for. Not only were they stitched in poorly, they were stitched in upside down with the padding on the top. My partner took the dress back in hopes of giving them a chance to offer a refund, stating we now needed to find a solution and didn't have time to leave the dress with them again, nor did I trust doing so and their solution was $10 back. Now I've spent $135 for shortened straps, hem and upside down cups. I'm left scrambling with 5 days left, needing to spend an arm and a leg to find a solution. Ultimately, I'm very disappointed. I would have appreciated their honesty if they would have told me the cups wouldn't be possible as it would have saved me time and money. Edit: A few things of note in response to your reply.. I did not "insist" on having them sewn in. I simply asked and was told to purchase the cups from Fabricland and to bring them in after the straps were finished. I did exactly that. I brought the cups in at this time and quite honestly if they needed to be fitted to my body, I would expect one of you to tell me that while I was there. I would have happily scheduled a time to come in to do that. If you decided it wasn't possible, I should have been advised of that at that time as well. As mentioned in my original post, not only were they sewn in poorly, they were also sewn in upside down and THAT has nothing to do with me or anything I did or didn't do. I simply would have appreciated the honesty if you had told me at the second fitting that the cups couldn't be done as it would have given me significantly more time to get what I needed to solve the original problem. I told my fiancé I no longer trusted my dress in your hands as I didn't have time to fix any other possible mistakes. I acknowledged the straps and hem were done properly, thus the two stars. However, I was never rude or insistent at any time during my visits or conversations and always gave you an opportunity to tell me if my requests couldn't be done.

I had the most amazing experience in dealing with this store. I am an individual with a mobility issue. It is very hard for me to enter in to stores and especially if stairs are involved. This store is located in the back part of a mall with the closest entrance having steps to get in. I called the store and the gentleman I spoke to offered to come and get the three pants I needed hemmed from my car. The gentleman was extremely helpful and offered to have all three pants ready in one hour. The cost of the total job was $30, $10 a pair. It is hard today to find places like this exceptional customer service at great prices and will to help people with special needs 5 ????????????????????.

DO NOT use this place! I went in for the first time ever and the lady just took her time to assist me at the counter! Does not say anything as she does not speak English! Very Rude! I had a very light weight Spring Jacket to be Dry Cleaned and still does not say anything but she gets her calculator and shows me the amount which was over $50.00! I thought I was seeing things! I just walked out! What a SCAM they are! I went to WRIGHT cleaners down the street and they charged me only $15.00 to dry clean my Jacket! GO TO Wright Cleaners as they do it right! Thank God for these reviews! People should know when they are getting ripped off and the Owners can’t delete our comments! Ha! Looks good on them! To the Owner: I hope when you read this it will wake you up of ripping off customers! What do you have to say about that? Ha!
