I like this store. The staff are very friendly and helpful! Especially John! He gave us really good suggestion on some family friendly biking trails when he saw our family walked in the store with the bike helmets on. We all enjoyed it so much! Great customer service. For sure we will visit and say hi when we are in Banff.

I had great customer service. I went in last week and needed a jacket repaired and there are no HH stores in Calgary. The manager John told me where in Calgary to get my jacket fixed under warranty. Saved me a trip back to Banff. Great Service!

We were looking for foot beds in Banff and this was the only store we could find that sold them for less than 100. The staff their was very nice and gave us some tips on where to go hiking in the area.

Was visiting from Minneapolis and needed a new jacket. They didn't really "sell" you for the purpose of selling. The guy that helped us really believed in the product and did a great job of educating us on what our options were and we made our decisions from there. It was a great experience and they charged us once.

My favourite ski apparel store had everything 30% off at end of February. I don't need anything but saw a nice Odin 9 Worlds jacket discounted to $490. Alberta, unlike Ontario, has no sales tax so that's a saving also. HH clothing has material advantages for stretch, fit and warmth, the color of the year, 2020 orange and technical features like thumb gaters and powder skirts. Hoods are adjustable and a good fit for helmets.????⛷️????️????

The absolute worst customer service I have ever seen. When we were in this store today, my son accidentally knocked over a jacket. The male staff member (Caucasion, mid 20 to 30 yrs of age, wore a brown/grey t shirt) who sat at the cashier desk screamed on top of his lung “Be careful that is a white jacket”. Accident does happen with children but for staff to over-react like this is unacceptable. His female co-worker probably felt bad for his action and went over to assist us. We were planning to purchase this jacket but due to the male staff behaviour, we decided to leave the store and not shop at this location any further. If I could give this place a 0 star, I would. I love shopping at Helly Hansen but unfortunately, this staff member have ruined the experience for me.

Came here after my old gear (finally) basically fell apart. Working in retail I have pretty high standards for service and they were surpassed here. John and his staff took the time to talk to me and understand what I was looking for in new gear, how I ride and what I was looking to replace (shell vs heavy jacket), and made recommendations. They continued to pull items while I was trying things on and made the decision extremely easy & clear. Thanks for the amazing service & I’ll definitely be back!

These folks go above and beyond. Bought a jacket from them in Nov. decided I wanted a different colour. Reached out to them and then covid hit and shut them down (March) got an email asking if I was still interested in it. At first I was like not really them they told me 60% off!! And shipped to me over night for a small fee!! Excellent customer service!! I will buy all my outdoor gear from them!! Cheers. Thank you again! See you in Nov. Stevie B

I bought my jacket over a month ago. When paying they charged me twice for ONE jacket. I went to the store and told them about that problem. After that I sent the email to the store manager in which he confirms that he can see that the double amount was charged. Even though they admitted their mistake they did not even try to get my money back. It is unacceptable to behave as if it is not their problem. Do I have to pray to give me back my money? They robbed me and they do not care about good customer service. The worst shop in Banff.

The quality of Helly Hansen is superior to many other bands, from hiking to snowboarding and everything in between this is my go to store. Thank you for having such amazing chill staff Helly Hansen.

Came here October 19, 2019 at 8:38 PM. Store was supposed to close at 9:00 PM according to website. Looks like the 2 bearded guys working tonight wanted to get out early as door was locked. Too bad as I needed a winter jacket, a set of Lifa merino wool base layer top and bottom, and some wind proof pants. I'll go down the street to another sport shop instead. Thanks for nothing guys.
