Staff are helpful and there is a good selection of Fjall's offerings. However, inventory levels are always an issue (I am a men's medium) I have never had an item I want be in stock. Regardless it is a nice little spot.

I purchased the Greenland Wool jacket from the Banff store this summer. After only a few wears this winter the zipper busted. I contacted customer support and was told that I have to ship it to one of their stores for repair. At first I was informed that cost of shipping to the store was on me. I fought that and they sent me a label. It was still my responsibility to take it over to a UPS store (no pick up). I was also informed that it would take up 6 weeks, plus shipping time to get my jacket back. So much for my new winter jacket for the winter season. I was not offered the option to repair locally and be reimbursed as some companies do. Not necessarily Banff stores fault, but there’s no national store to review, so this is where my frustration lands. They bill them selves as a high quality outdoor company, with prices to match, but ultimately their products and support don’t match the prices.

The staff at the Banff store are top notch — it’s how my husband and I think service should be at every retail store! Friendly, informed, helpful and most importantly, genuine. They didn’t have the shirt I wanted in my size but promptly checked stock elsewhere and arranged to have it shipped to me for free. It arrived in a week (amazing!) along with a handwritten note, two stickers and a piece of Daim candy...you know what, it’s the little things that count! I’ll be sure to visit when next in Banff.

Limited selection but the staff are awesome, chilled, and easy going. I bought the Ovik green travel shirt which fitted just right and got a bar of wax for a jacket I recently bought from another Fjallraven store in Revelstoke.

We came across this store a couple years ago walking through Banff. We were greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff. We liked the product and their eco friendliness. We have purchased several clothes and gear over years and have been happy. So much so my husband ended up purchasing several jackets (Skosgo Padded Jacket) for his employees to be used as work attire, the staff all love their jackets and we often get compliments. They have given us many pointers on how to prepare for overnight hikes and camps. We appreciate all the time they spend with us sharing their experience and expertise. They have always been happy and eager to help. Even though we live a few hours away we always stop in to say hello when stopping in Banff or driving through.

The girl that was helping us buy a few items was an incredible help; friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. I felt so badly for her when the manager stepped in during our final transaction to tell her sternly what she had done wrong in front of us. I asked the manager to clarify and she held firm on her position. Not a great experience for that employee or for us as their customers. Hoping this feedback helps create a better experience for all!

European sizes. Hope those two words helps the great staff that had to say that to everyone in the store. Great clothing, but you're going to have to pay for it. They were running a sale of 25% off and these pants were well worth it. I spilled honey or something on my pants and it just beaded up like it wasn't a big issue. Even though I didn't use their Greenland Wax on them.

Best place to get Hanwag footwear. It's pricey but you get what you pay for. 5 months ago I bought the Tashi boot (Double-stitched mountain boot made of yak leather). I wish I did it before.

You’ve been warned! Very helpful and knowledgeable staff who go out of their way to make your shopping experience delightful. If you are an outdoorsman/woman, these clothes and accessories are second to none. Comfortable, practical and well worth the money, there’s nothing else comparable out there in my opinion. When the courier lost the package with pants that were fixed under warranty, they interacted with the courier. When it was determined the package was lost they sent a pair of replacement pant. Great customer service

We visited the store in September and I purchased a pair of pants. I later on had a problem with the pants and contacted the company direct. Next I was contacted by Daniel from the Banf store directly. Daniel not only took care of my issue but when it took to long (because of shipping problems) contacted me again to inform me he was going to have the NY store, which is one state away from me, ship my warranty replacement to me. The clothes are pricey for sure but the quality is high and the customer service is outstanding. They have made me a customer for life. Thanks very much.

I had a great experience at this store in Banf. The customer service at the store was fantastic. In particular 'Will' was very approachable, very patient and helpful (as we spent a long time trying on many clothes - so hard to decide!) and even offered to wax our new purchases that afternoon - thank you so much Will! The other staff were also attentive and knowledgeable about the products I was interested in . I will be back!
