terrible business, was charged initially when clothing was left and then charged again when they were picked up the following week. claimed their debit machine wasn't working so they made us pay cash and are now claiming we didn't pay- avoid this business.

I have visited Unique Fit frequently over the years, and have always been pleased with this service. I have had clothes tailored to my size, recut, and had a vintage dress which had been hacked down to fit a child beautifully restored to fit an adult me!

THE WORST TAILOR STORE EVER. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT GET YOUR CLOTHES ALTERED HERE. 1. It took over three weeks to get my jeans altered. 2. I had to take them back over 3 times to fix their mistake. They did not properly alter the waist of my jeans and the stitches were poorly done, clearly different than the jean's stitches, and were not even straight. 3. They did not compensate for their mistakes and kept saying they will fix it. I finally gave up and took my $150 now ruined jeans home. I would have rather worn them loose. I REGRET giving them my jeans to fix and wish I had gone elsewhere for alterations. Do yourself a favour and find a better tailor.

This place will not call you to tell you your alterations are finished.......... What????? I waited 3 days to give them the benefit of the doubt and when I called and asked why I didn't get a phone call her response was "NO, we don't have to call you buddy" apparently the date and time of pickup was written on a note I received. Never the less, a phone call should be sent out to the customer informing them. Customer service = -5 stars. Ridiculous

Really nice receptionist! was so helpful especiallly cause it was my first time going to an alteration store so i didn’t know really what to ask but when i explained what i needed she understood and helped me through it. i got a dress taken in and i’m really happy with how it turned out ????

I asked staff whether they could iron my clothes and I want to pay for it. They answered me they do not have iron. But when I pick my stuff there I find they are ironing suits. Therefore, they ask me to pay the urgent service fee, or I will wait a week to get my pants adjust. (Only length)

I had a very frustrating experience with this shop. I arrived at the mall on a Saturday afternoon with my 2 kids (a newborn and toddler), a giant bolt of fabric and 2 sets of drapes. As I walked in the door, a lady hurriedly told me "I'm going on my break" and shoo'd me out of the store. She continued to tell me that she would be back at the earliest, in 30 minutes and I could cone back then. I explained that I only wanted to drop off my materials and no fitting was needed. She refused to help me. I will not be taking my business back to this shop. They should staff their store appropriately - especially on a Saturday afternoon.

I visited the store recently to get my pants hemmed. I was in a hurry, but the front receptionist was quick to take my measurements, and answer all my questions. Great service.

I took a coat here so the sleeves could be shortened. It took longer than initially told and once I picked it up, they didn't do it properly and the sleeves were too short. Do yourself a favour and take your clothes elsewhere to be altered.

Thank you to Unique Fit Alterations for fixing my bridesmaid dress! It was so stressful to become a bridesmaid last minute with a dress that did not fit me. However, a visit to this place changed everything! The owner and staff were so friendly and professional. I truly value the expertise provided and appreciate the transformation they did to the dress to make me feel and look beautiful!! It was a completely different dress They! They even went above and beyond by designing a custom mask to go with the dress! A++ service!

My wife had her dress hemmed here, they charged over $30 for a simple hem and 3 months later all the stitching was out. The dress was worn once and when she called, the woman on the phone told her they won't do anything about it. Save your money, shop elsewhere.

febuary 25, 11:20pm, Extremely homophobic lady. at the front desk my fiancee and i are getting married and wearing matching suits. i went here to have my measurements for the custom suit because obviously i have a male body. but she refused. then i offered her cash and she was shaking her head yes until i started taking off my coat and she said no. my fiancee is bisexual and im gender fluid so why cant we wear matching suits

I came in to fix my jeans that were just a little bit too long. Almost one week later the jeans were ready. After I picked up my jeans and measured it at home it was way too short. I called back and asked if it’s possible to make it longer. They told me l will have to come in so they can look at the jeans. I explained to the person over the phone that I live far and it’s very inconvenient for me to come in but it’s just regular jeans like any other jeans. She said she still has to see it. I suggested to send a picture of the jeans but they replied that they don’t use smartphones. I said that I can email the picture and they said they don’t have an email although they do have a website. I asked to talk to the manager and I was told the manager is on vacation and will be back in 50 years. Before I had a chance to say anything else the worker yelled at me saying that she has customers and can’t talk to me anymore and rudely hanged up the phone.

We practically didn’t get past the “hello”. We walked into the store and the person in attendance called from the back to say “hold on” in a tone that appeared we were causing her a problem by walking into the store. Then when we asked about an alteration of a dress, it also felt we were causing this person too much trouble being there and after being directed to a change room, we decided that this person simply didn’t want us to be there and we were not prepared to give them our business even after asking mall staff where the store was located. There are lots of alternatives to get alterations done, I suggest you seek them out first and don’t waste your time or money on this establishment.

Horrible customer service! Very rude and way over priced! I asked the receptionist how much it would cost to sew a thin strap, requiring very little stitching back in position and the answer I recieved shocked me! In a condesending manner I was told it costs an $18 minimum base fare to “reconstruct” my top and an extra $4 to have it done in two days time! Absolutely rediculous, will recommend this place to no one!

Do not use this alteration service. They are unprofessional and money-grabbers. Their store is not well maintained. Their debit machine doesn’t work and they don’t plan on fixing it because I overheard the associate tell a customer that in August when her alterations are ready, she has to pay in cash because the debit machine doesn’t work. Why? Why can’t it be fixed? The customer’s alterations will take weeks to be finished and it doesn’t take that long to fix a debit machine. When I walked into the store, I waited 20 mins before the associate acknowledged me and the service I received was sub-par. I will take my alterations somewhere else as this place does not deserve my business.

Arrived at 8:30pm; mall closes at 9pm. First thing out of the individual’s mouth was “we close at 9”. Didn’t even ask what I needed. Informed her that I needed pants hemmed. Clearly didn’t want the business. Absolutely didn’t feel welcomed or secure leaving them with expensive clothing. Needless to say, took my business elsewhere. Absolutely would not recommend.
