Fantastic service. Fairly priced. Had a leather jacket re-lined there and am very pleased with the results. The new lining is nicer than the original lining by Danier. O. M. G. This years later I 'just' noticed the gorgeous pattern 'inside my sleeves'. I just put the jacket on and never looked back. Work around the original liner to maintain all the pockets... Thanks so much. I love it so much. (just look at the jacket... I was excited and not retaking them! Lol) LG G8X 'barely' fits. But it fits. 19 yo leather. 2020 If I 'somehow' wear this out... I'll mail it to you.

I was referred to Paula's Place Tailor Shop approximately seven years ago. The proprietor has never let me down. She has become my tailor of choice. She will give an honest estimation of cost and an expected time for completion, based upon her workload. More often than not, she has had my items ready for pickup on the desired date, or usually before the appointed time. Paula is pleasant and takes pride in attempting to meet all your tailoring needs.

I used to go to Paula often to get clothing altered, however recently I haven't been satisfied with her service. I feel badly leaving a negative review for a small independent business during these times, but if you pay for a service, you should expect quality. In June I had the hem of a pair of shorts fixed. It is now August and the stitching which the seamstress put in, has fallen out- I've worn these shorts maybe three times and hand washed them. Two weeks ago, I went to Paula to have a pair of denim shorts taken in, and the zipper in a dress fixed, as well as hemmed. I had agreed to check back in a week. When I returned to pick up the shorts (which were ready) and dress, Paula took it off of the rack, looked at it and said the zipper had not been done, so I agreed to stay and wait. She then proceeded to work on the zipper which is great, but stated things to herself about being rushed and then loudly said "there is nothing worse than being rushed while I work." I then stated I could return the next day, which I did. This would have all been a positive experience, however I paid almost $50 for two items to be altered, one wasn't finished because the seamstress forgot to finish the job, and was then made to feel bad for waiting for something I had already paid- not to mention the seams falling out of a recent hem job. I will not be returning to this business with my clothing again.

Paula's is helpful and does great work--she makes sure all of her tailoring turns out and won't hesitate to make an adjustment so her customer is satisfied. A great local spot for anyone in Clayton Park who needs some alterations.

This place is the worest place you can go ever to fix your cloths, she is very rode she only cares about the money not the service she provides. Also not prefect time i left my sheet to get fixed she says pick it up Saturday and it was not ready i came two dayes after it was not ready yet, third day she called said they are ready but unfortunately i came to pick them up they were not done as asked for and i hade to wait more than30 min to finish them and they were not as expected as well plus i asked for discount in the price cuz they were not done by time and not donethe way they should be she was very rode she tooke the bag from me abd said you are bot getting them if you do not pay all the money Never go to this place is horrible
