I went to Raymond Tailor to get two suit jackets hemmed for a friend's wedding (they were too big). He was incredibly kind, worked around my tight schedule (as the wedding was soon), and the work was well done. Absolutely loved the end results of my jackets, and got many compliments from it. The price was very reasonable, and I'm a student saying that. I highly recommend taking all your tailor needs there. I'll be going back, that's for certain.

My now husband is 6''4 and is shaped like an inverted triangle so buying off the rack is very difficult for him. I ended up purchasing an off the rack tux and brought it to Raymond to see if it can be fitted as much as possible. Raymond managed to get the work done very well within two fittings and made my husband look amazing in his tux for our wedding day. His prices are very reasonable for the location as well. Everyone already knows; Raymond is a gem. Have had 2 suits altered by him for weddings and they always come out fitting like a glove. I asked him to make my suit skin tight and he didn't judge me and would have made it happen, but then I said I was only joking and asked for his expert opinion. They usually retail for 35 dollars, while Raymond sells them for 25 bucks. Trust me on this if you're going to wear a suit you need to wear it with Saxx underwear or else you'll be uncomfortable all function lol

Just received my bespoke Harris Tweed sport jacket from Raymond and I'm really pleased with it. Raymond's custom process includes an initial fitting as well as a basted (skeleton) fit when the garment is partially completed. After coming in for the final fitting, I had several issues with the fit. Raymond was extremely accommodating and correct the issues prefectly. The entire process took several months but was well worth the wait. The quality of Raymond's construction is extremely good and his prices are reasonable. For an extra charge, he will make a fully canvassed jacket. Good selection of cloth including Holland and Sherry and Barberis. Also, Raymond is a really nice guy. Highly recommended.

I had another tailor tell me one suit couldn't be altered as much as I needed it to be, but Raymond, told me not a problem, and did a fantastic job. This man is a wizard, one of the old guard of tailors that's so hard to find these days. Not only that, he was extremely reasonable in his pricing. He's busy (because he's so good, probably), but you will not be disappointed.

The bottom line: Go see this guy - he has skills, experience and very affordable prices. The long story: I went to see Raymond with my father's 30 year old wedding tux wich I wanted to wear at my wedding. The seat area and front of the pants were too tight for me to wear. I went to see 3 other tailors before seeing Raymond and all 3 turned me downs, because there was not extra material inside the pants to make these areas bigger. When I told Raymond about the sentimental value of the suit, he explained how he could remove material from the legs (modern pants are narrower than they were in the 1970's) and he could use that extra material for the pants to fit me. It took month to do the alteration and everything was ready in time for my wedding. Price for the alteration was less than it woul've cost for a normal pair of pants. Thanks again Raymond, can't wait to have one of your very affordable Custom tailored suits made for me.
