Worst dry cleaner ever. Came to pick up 2 pants for dry cleaning and waited for 20mins. Owner couldn’t find the pants. After struggling 15mins, we found it on the different rack. The owner only asked if it was 2 pants when we came in. Now he is blaming that we didnt tell him it was “dry cleaning” when we absolutely did. Regardless who said what we waited good 20mins and no apologies. When we suggested that they should start writing down the difference on the recipe and he didnt care to listen rather said fxxk off. I took a picture of this place only to let other ppl know about this owner. I wish I could do more than leaving a bad review

These guys do a really great job. There turnaround time is quick and they will continue to work on the tailoring if the fit isn’t quite right. I’ve taken my few shirts there, all with pretty perfect work done, and what I’ve gotten back in return has always been perfect!!!

Extremely frustrating experience for a first time customer. Would not recommend. On my initial arrival the Tailor wasn't able to make all of the changes I asked for, but I agreed with what could be done. I was told to come back in two weeks to pick up and being that one pair of the pants I asked to be altered was for work, and I came back on the exact date that I was told. When I got there, there was a different Tailor and they told me that my clothes weren't done yet and they were at another location, and I had to wait another 5 days to get them. After already waiting the two weeks agreed upon this was extremely inconvenient. But I agreed, and I came back during open hours, 5 days later. When I got there all the lights were off, even though it was almost an hour after the opening time on their sign and online (It was 10:45am.) On the door there was a sign that said "Be back at 10:30" and yet there will still no one there. So I called their number and was told that they had new hours this week, from 12-4, even though it wasn't posted anywhere - online or at the actual store. I was in a huge rush and needed my clothes after already waiting this long. I got my roommate to go after 12pm that day because I had to work, and I was desperate to finally get my things. When my roommate showed up he was told that the pants I needed for work were still not finished and to come back in an hour. He also works and wasn't able to come back, and the Tailor argued with him as to why he couldn't just come back in an hour. Considering the fact that the "new times" weren't posted anywhere, and already making me wait longer than what was agreed upon, that was extremely rude. They told him the "new" hours for next week would be 11-5, and for me to come back then, which I agreed to because I don't have a choice and need my work pants. Needless to say, I am overwhelmed by the lack of responsibility for someone else's things, or their time. The changing times was extremely frustrating and especially because there was no way of anyone knowing. I will not be returning any time soon, nor recommending this establishment.

This place is great! Reliable and the owner is funny and lovely to interact with. I go here for all my tailoring and dry cleaning needs. It's cheaper than most of the other places on st Clair too. Special mention goes out to a vintage wool coat with fur which needed a dry clean a new zipper. The new zipper matches perfectly and looks even better than the old one! I get compliments on the coat every day. Well done Canada Tailoring!

Canada Tailoring, it's a little spot just west of Oakwood on St. Clair, innocuous you might walk by and not even think about it. But let me tell you, this place is top notch! Professional. Friendly and personable. And, will come up with solutions to clothing malfunctions or damage. I have had several pants tailored here, in addition to dry cleaning and the most impressive was a shirt that I had damaged while ironing. I thought I had to throw it out. But, solution! Canada Tailoring came up with a genius idea to sew a cool label over the area that was damaged, now it looks like an even more expensive shirt! Brought in two suits to have it worked on and dry cleaned. The owner was very professional and she understood exactly what needed to be done. The suits were altered exactly how it needed to be. Added bonus, it was ready for pick up one day earlier than requested. All my future alteration and dry cleaning will be done by they guys. Highly recommended.

dry clean, white shirt I gave for dry cleaning he gave me the shirt with stain and not ironed. He keep saying its the fabric :o I wanna ask the white fabric has a blue color he charged me $37 the cost to buy a shirt during pandemic the store was closed and had to pay for alteration and dry cleaning. he did the worse job and don't recommend to anyone. worse place don't waste your money.

Top notch service, the owner is very nice, the prices are very reasonable. Had suit pants shortened for 10 dollars, I don't think you can find a better tailor for this price. They also make custom made suits at about 800, have to give that a try some time :)

I came to this place because every review here said the owner is very nice, and they certainly did not disappoint. Not only was he extremely friendly, he also has 20 years of expertise in tailoring suits. I recently lost over 30 lbs and went from a 36-inch+ waist to a 33-inch waist. I had a lot of nice and expensive clothes and didn't want to chuck them or go out and buy all new clothes. I went to see the owner and started with a few items like taking in a few pants to see how good his work was. Being impressed with his quality of work I decided to bring in more clothes over several trips and a couple of thousands of dollars later of alterations, I have a brand new wardrobe at a fraction of the cost of buying all new items. He took in over a dozen pants at the waist and thighs, took in about 8 suit jackets at the waist, shorten jackets, shorten jacket sleeves, darted over 20 shirts, took in shorts and all work looked like it came from the original designer, same stitching, totally not noticeable that they were altered. He also reduced the length two trench coats, took in a leather jacket, cashmere jacket, reduced the length of a cashmere overcoat and reduced the sleeves of a recently bought wool overcoat without changing the pattern at the end of the sleeves. The work is outstanding and seamless compared to the original workmanship, which is what everyone wants to see. It may sound like a lot of money in total but compared to the cost of the original clothes I bought and the cost if I would have bought similar quality new clothes today, this was a bargain I feel great in all my clothes and received so many compliments from friends and family. Service was great, likable owner with many years of tailoring experience since his teenage days, and I highly recommend him for any time or amount of tailoring alterations. 5+ stars. By ET.

So, let me start this review off by saying that when I bought this dress I was simply convinced that my size wouldn't come in on time for my best friends wedding. Consequently, the dress I purchased was probably a cool 10 sizes too big for me. I am a tiny lady, and the whole point of it was to be a structured, easy-wearing, "Jennifer-Aniston-in-Friends" type thing. Yeah, I'm an easily persuaded idiot to even buy it and yes, it was going to be a big job. Luckily, Canada Tailoring is close by, and after reading the reviews and meeting the tailor I felt like a man who can LITERALLY make a custom suit from a bolt of fabric was probably going to take good care of me and my tragically ill-fitting bridesmaids dress. WELL I WASN'T WRONG. And, thank goodness. It was done early. After two fittings I have a beautiful, well-tailored wedding dress and when I took it home and saw how dope I looked it in, the relief WASHED ALL OVER ME. Yeah, alterations are expensive. But it is what it is. All and all, it seemed completely reasonable considering that he basically handcrafted me a dress out of the shell that I brought him, bones and all. So yeah. 5/5 !
