I haven't actually purchased anything here, but I called to inquire about their suits and despite me saying I didn't have the money currently, but was interested in buying a suit later, they still took the time to tell me about their options and help me make a decision for the future. I will update this review after I go there in the future because they definitely sold me on giving them my business. UPDATE So I've now gone through the process with a made to measure Samuelsohn suit and a few bespoke shirts. I am thoroughly impressed with these fantastic people. Friendly nice, will chat with you for a while when you're there, and most importantly, they really know their stuff. From different shoulders, to canvas construction, to hand stitching, to buttons, to fabric, they know what they're doing and you will be in good hands. If you want a true bespoke experience, I would suggest you visit here immediately.

What can I say about Arthur Montreal other than exceptional? John, David and Arthur are the friendliest professionals I've ever met. They actually care and remember who you are even if you don't visit them for a long period of time so don't be intimidated by their very classy looking store because the moment you walk through the front door, you are treated like a king even if you're just a normal guy with a normal job. Also being the fashion ignorant that I am they gladly helped me through the process of making my first bespoke suit from choice of patterns, materials, buttons, shirts to body fit and overall look. I can tell you right now that every time I wear my suits and shirts, I get compliments. It was a long process (only for the first time) but they made it enjoyable and at the end worth it. On top of that, when you have a problem, they will fix it. I had some issues with my shoes and they made sure the problem would be resolved. Anyway, to keep this short as possible, Arthur is a worldwide top quality tailor whether you're looking for bespoke, made to measure or shirts, they will fit your needs.

I am never going to buy any other dress clothes from anywhere else now. Exceptional service, with top notch products and friendliness. Shirts can be priced out at a similar cost to off the rack designer shirts from your high end stores. Except the shirts here are custom fit, designed to your exact specification (collar, cuff etc). The fact that they travel to where I am, makes it even easier. I am frequently complimented by peers where I am wearing my clothes made from Arthur.

The whole Arthur's team is top notch, the service is friendly and efficient, the product is one of the best I've experienced, and they are actually very reasonably priced for what they do, the same work would cost 50-60% more anywhere else. The work is all done in Montreal (ie. upstairs from the showroom), and they go above and beyond to make you happy (and have stopped me from making a dumb decision once or twice). I wouldn't go anywhere else to get clothes made.
