Heard about this place through its reputation and reviews. Took a lunch kit in that had a broken zipper, talked to the very nice lady there and dropped it off. Arrange for pickup Monday, and when I went to pick it up the quality and workmanship was beyond expectation. It all looks like original stitching, it looks solid, feel solid, and works without a hitch. Will definitely go here in the future for more alterations or fixings.

I get EVERYTHING tailored here. They customize it and make sure that everything is done how you like it. Whether it's broken zippers or customizing a dress I bought, they do it with professionalism and efficiency! Highly recommend!

Place was okay, though staff were not very helpful (seemed pre-occupied with other matters) and did not offer much input or support as we attempted to look for various fabrics. Front was unattended for about 20-30 mins with no staff in sight. Price offered for suits was reasonable however timeline for suits to come in were quite long (if we had ordered it then (went Feb 29) it would have came in June which was quite long considering the second shop we went too would only take a month and we had suits to try on to see where this place did not have any. Decent price but alot of DIY with little advice.

Outstanding quality of work. Needed a fast fix on a winter parka (-25C cold spell). Called ahead for the required appointment and had my jacket back to me in 2 hours looking like new. Will definitely be back for any tailoring needs.

Highly NOT recommended. Requested to replace a broken pant's zipper and it wasn't done even a day after the pickup date. The lady there was laughing and carelessly saying that they forgot about it. What a waste of time!

I can make an emphatic recommendation for this amazing small business. My wife had her dress altered there and, as well, the proprietor custom-made 3-pc wool suits and perfectly made custom shirts for myself and my groomsmen for an incredible price. My wife was thrilled with the service and quality of work performed on her dress. Since then we have brought her many difficult alterations and repairs, to which she always completes with excellent results, for a great value.

I am extremely happy with the Zipper and Buttons Tailors. The craftsmanship is excellent and the price is more than fair. They take jobs regardless big or small. What I like the most is their honesty. On one of my jacket, the lady could have replace the whole zipper and charge me more, I would be none the wiser, but she found the missing slider in the lining of the jacket and installed it for me. Not only it preserved original looking but also save me money. I recommend this business to anyone.

I have a very expensive outdoor parka beyond warranty, zipper broke, cuffs frayed, small tare in shoulder. I found this hidden gem of a place that brought my parka back from the dead for a fraction of the price of a new one. All three issues were repaired professionally, couldn't be happier.
