I just picked up my wedding dress from Wai's and I am so happy with the result! Her work on my dress is excellent - she took in the bust portion of the dress which has complex fabric and boning details perfectly, hemmed 6 layers of fabric and put in a bustle. My dress is very fine soft fabric (silk tulle from WToo) and her delicate and detailed work is not noticeable - beyond the fact that my dress fits perfectly now! Her shop has very convenient parking out front and she has great availability for pickup since she is open on Saturdays. I will recommend Wai's Alterations to everyone from now on! Thank you so much for helping me get my dress ready for my big day!

I've frequented this shop well over a dozens times during the last year. Excellent alterations for shirt, sweaters, sport jackets and pants. The shop is consistently busy; thus the service is best suited for the patient customer. The seamstresses are quite reasonable despite having a great deal of alterations to do. I will continue to utilize this shop for uncomplicated changes.

Have tried numerous tailors in the city, and this place by far has the best quality and service. Anywhere in the city!! You get what you pay for. Don’t be fooled by cheap tailors! Go out of your way to get items done here!

I bought a “custom” bridesmaids dress for my sisters wedding which was suppose to fit my measurements exactly, no alterations needed was supposed to be the benefit. What I received did not fit my body whatsoever and wasn’t something I could have worn to the wedding , I was so disappointed in the fit of the dress as it was very expensive. The original seamstress wouldn’t do alterations so I reached out to Wai’s Alterations after seeing positive google reviews and I’m so happy with how the dress turned out after previously thinking it was a complete right off. The seamstress did a wonderful job fixing the areas of concern and hemming the dress perfectly. She even accommodated me every time I had to reschedule my appointment. I will be taking all my future alterations to Wai’s.

I had been looking for a seamstress to do the alterations for my wedding dress and after reading all the great reviews on Wai’s Alterations, I decided to go with them. I came in to get a quote and it was much cheaper than the quote I received from the bridal shop I went to, which was a huge plus! I couldn’t be happier with the service I received, and Linda and her team did such an amazing job with my dress! I was initially told it would take about a couple of months for the dress to be finished because of all the work that needed to be done, but they managed to finished the dress in just 3 weeks! I’m so excited to wear the dress on my big day and I will definitely be going back to Wai’s if I ever needed to get alterations done. I would definitely recommend them to everyone!

Pure magic. Wei’s has done extensive alterations on many pieces of clothing. Each time, the work is done flawlessly - it fits perfectly and is exactly what I had envisioned. They pay close attention to detail, and ensure I am 100% happy with the final product. I recently brought in both a long gown for a complete alteration, as well as a ski jacket that had been torn. Both were done beautifully - you cannot tell where the tear in the jacket was whatsoever - they managed to patch it flawlessly to look brand new. I highly recommend Wei’s.

Wai's altered both of my wedding gowns. They were successfully able to restructure the front of a gown that the manufacturers deemed impossible. They were always friendly and professional. All the work was done on schedule or earlier. Everyone in the shop was always careful to follow all health orders and it is very clean.

I brought my very special wedding ceremony dress in to Wai’s for some alterations. I had taken a few items into Wai’s years ago, and was very pleased with the results. I wanted to have my dress shortened, but I also had some ideas about changing the sleeve a bit, and wasn’t sure if that would be possible. Aside from being friendly, warm and making me feel comfortable, Linda listened to exactly what I wanted to change and worked with me to bring my vision to life! A week later I went in to try the dress on for a final fitting. Linda did a superior job. It literally could not be any more perfect. I’m so glad I went to Wai’s and met Linda! Highly recommend for any alterations, and definitely for those special pieces.

I brought in several shirts, and they were all done well. Cost more than I was expecting seeing as the shirts just needed to be taken in a bit, but they did good work so I did not bring it up. Came back with a jacket that just needed to be hemmed a couple inches. Again, easy enough job, but I got some serious sticker shock on the bill. She may be a very capable tailor, but I feel the prices don't reflect the work being done, I will not be going back.

Disappointed to say the least. Overall I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but I have to find a new seamstress. Have been here to get several items altered in the past, and all have been satisfactory. Recently brought in a pair of designer jeans in to have hemmed, and I had told the lady to alter it only a little bit as it was only an inch too long. Received the jeans back, 1. they are hemmed to short. Number 2, The left leg is an additional inch shorter compared to the right leg and because they are hemmed short to begin with, it is noticeably shorter when worn. My new favourite jeans turned into a disaster and look hideous because of these alterations. Extremely disappointed to their lack of attention and detail.

I just recently discovered this gem of a shop and I am thoroughly impressed! I took Linda an oversized duster that I couldn’t return online and needed to be tailored. I wasn’t expecting too much as the duster was way too big and didn’t sit well on my body, but I decided to give Wai’s Alterations a try. After dropping off the duster I returned for a fitting a week later and was blown away. It was perfect! I’m so happy with Linda’s work that I just dropped off another two pieces that I had sitting around thinking there was no hope for them. Pricing is definitely reasonable for the excellent work Wai’s Alterations does. So glad I found this place!
