The masks this shop are making are a better design and the workmanship of a superior quality to most I have seen.The cotton is top quality and comes in unique and attractive patterns. And they keep the price so reasonable ! Without sharing personal details I want to add that the family that own this business went so far above and beyond to assist me in a difficult time that it totally restored my faith in human kindness. PS...that is not why I gave the masks a good review ! LOL

Very friendly staff and great to talk to over the phone or text if I have questions. Used them for dry cleaning (sweaters, coats) and laundry (dress shirts) - they take care of your pieces. Also used them for repairs of clothing and bed sheets and they are superb

I was less then 2 months away from my wedding and need help quick with my dress as the original people who did my dress sized it wrong and wanted more money to fix they're mess. Tony The Tailer had it done quick and done right and they way I wanted it done not only did they make sure my dress was done right but they notice other little things and went out of thier way to fix EVERYTHING and was very friendly and kind and very cost friendly.

Horrible. I decided to go to Tony the Tailor because of the good reviews found on here, however, I was quickly disappointed. When I went to Tony the Tailor to get my $360 jeans hemmed, both my girlfriend and I asked to ensure that the original stitchings would remain intact (an original hem). When I came back the next week to pick up my jeans, I found out that was not the case, and, instead, the stitches were replaced by a completely different color. Complete waste of time, money, and brand new pair of jeans. Would definitely NOT recommend this store to hem jeans.

With over 20 years of experience, Kieu Tran is one of the best tailors in Edmonton. From the excellent customer service to the high-quality work this place provides, their prices for what they do should be a lot higher. On top of their eco-friendly dry cleaning, being able to tailor both men and womenswear is a true skill that Kieu has mastered, from dress shirts to everyday clothing like jeans, she has the ability to make it form fitted or to give extra room for the places that need it. On the dress shirt that I gave to her to tailor, she was able to replicate the stitching perfectly on the areas the fabric needed to be reduced, making it look like it could have been there all along. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! 10/10 take your business here and you will not be disappointed.

I paid $200.00 to walk down the aisle tripping on my dress that they safety pinned up. It took her two weeks to cut it, and then when I came in for my final fitting she just safety pinned it, then charged me $200.00 and IT STILL DIDN'T WORK. I came here for the reviews on google, but I am thinking they must be bull.

I brought a pair of pants in to be enlongated. She said she would sew some more matieral onto the bottom of the pant legs and charged me $60 for the one pair. When I came back to pick up the pants she hadnt added any material and they were still too short. The thread on the bottom on the pants started to unravel shortly thereafter. Wont be back.

I went in to get a new suit hemmed - Jacket sleeve length as well as pant hemming and width adjustment. They were very professional and reviewed everything with me at the end to ensure accuracy. Efficient beyond belief because it was done faster than I thought! My wife also got her leather jacket done here and it turned out perfect! Definitely an awesome place to go to!! Highly recommend.

Very quick and friendly service, with surprisingly reasonable prices, especially given the location. I dropped off a shirt which needed some very careful work to have some holes and tears around the buttons repaired and they instantly identified exactly what needed to be done. The repairs were done extremely quickly, in fact, they were finished several days earlier than they initially estimated. They did an amazing job and the shirt now feels much, much sturdier and looks excellent. Props to the Tony the Tailor staff for taking down customer phone numbers, too. They texted me when my shirt was finished so I was able to drop by and pick it up as soon as possible. I will definitely be returning here in the future for my tailoring needs.

I've lived nearby Tony for years and only recently started using them 6 months ago and I don't know why it took me so long. They are a family business and treat me like a member. Remember my name and how I like my laundered items done. They have a great system when they text me as soon as my dry cleaning or repair is done. My only complaint is I wish their hours were longer. But I've text back before and they have held doors open for me an extra 15 min. I really wish they stay because they are so convenient so I'm showing support with a review.

I was a bit hesitant at the $40 price tag for fixing a couple of blowouts in my APCs, but I went with it since I was time constrained. Once I got the jean back I was very happy with that decision. They used multiple colors of thread, matched directions of stitching, the works. My jeans look like they were never even touched. I didn't even know they could make repairs this invisible. I will definitely use their services again.

I took my favorite leather jacket here to see if a large triangular shaped rip in the shoulder could be repaired. they were upfront on the rip and told me due to the way it was ripped that they might not be able to repair it back to brand new and was hesitant to even take it as she pointed out other minor rips in the lining and other smaller damage to the jacket that understandably they didnt want to be liable for. I asked her how much to fix everything and she quoted me a reasonable price to fix everything and added in the cleaning. My jacket was ready exactly when they said it would be. when I picked it up today, they went over with me what they did and pointed out the large triangular rip was they best they could do. (i wasnt expecting a miracle)Honestly if you did not know that it was ripped in the first place you would have to look hard to notice that it had been repaired. they fixed everything else and cleaned it like they said they would. they were very professional and honest and I would use their services again in the future.

Absolutely the worst tailoring service I have ever experienced. I have lived in 4 major cities in Canada and have been to over 12 different tailors, I can say for certain this was the worst service. I walked in with a smile being very polite and received one-word answers. I still tried on the garments I wanted altered and when I told the lady what I wanted she argued with me, then proceed to tell me it would be over 100 dollars to tapper the ankle portion of my pants. I took my garments to another tailor who I strongly recommend (John The Tailor) who was a complete 180 from the previous experience. He knew exactly what I needed before I even had to ask, and we actually had a dialogue which was a breath of fresh air compared to the previous. At the end John charged me a normal amount for my work, his shop was clean, organized and inviting. I have been wearing suits for 15 plus, trust me when I say do not go to Tony the Tailor, it is the biggest waste of time I have ever experienced.

I came in with three pairs of pants. None of them easy to tailor (taper on denim that I wanted the selvedge to stay original, frayed denim I wanted inseam hemmed and a pair of 35 waist taken down to a 33). They accommodated all of this and I'm extremely impressed at how they turned out. They know their stuff here and are happy to work with you to find the perfect fit. I highly recommend this tailor. Their attention to detail and commitment to the craft of alteration & tailoring is seen through their work. Don't let the older reviews influence your decision to take your business here. Another family has taken on the business and I can only say excellent things regarding their work.

One of the old reviews mentioned a pair of jeans being patched. I have a few pairs of $200+ jeans that have seen better days. Specifically the crotch area. If I wear colored underwear, everyone will know. Haha, it's a good thing I don't go commando. Anyways, Tony repaired the holes and I could not even tell where it is from the outside. It's simply magic. They feel even more reinforced to last many more years. Thanks Tony!

Tony the Tailors does a wonderful job of making people feel welcome. I have used them for ongoing alterations, plus recently having some of my suits re-lined. The suits now are as good as new. In addition the dry cleaning services is well done, and I love that I get a text when I can pick up my items. I highly recommend them, and look forward to seeing them more once our offices reopen.

I took my very light grey, almost white Canada Goose parka here and am still floored by how amazing of a job these folks did. My parka was incredibly dirty, I had been to another dry cleaner previously and they had told me some of the stains were just untreatable. I had a terrible experience at this tailor and will never go back or recommend them. I took my maid of honour dress there to be taken in and the finished product was unacceptable. The top was out 1/4 inch and the middle was out 1/2 inch making the zipper look crooked. The fabric also bunched at the bottom of the zipper which it didn't do before. We told the lady this and she would not listen. Rather she persisted to tell us steaming would get it out, which it didn't when she tried. She basically took in only the one side, shifting everything to the right side. There was no reasoning with the lady at all, she wouldn't listen. I have since taken the dress to another seamstress and she said that the job was absolutely unacceptable, and asked if I paid. That says it right there. I can't speak to other garments, but a word of warning to those ladies who want their dress fit right, I don't recommend this place go somewhere else.

Had a terrible experience with the lady co-owner over the weekend. I've used their services previously for dry cleaning and had no complaints. Whilst the husband had always been courteous, the wife was reserved but I had no complaints until I took in a dress for the zipper to be fixed. She was curt, impatient and acted as though she was doing me a favour. She complained that the previous zipper on the dress was not the appropriate one and that fixing it would take her a long time and quickly rattled off the cost. When I tried to discuss the cost and the work to be done with her, she snapped at me and her response was : "Do you want to get it done or not?!" I also inquired about the possibility of getting measured for a custom made attire that was going to be made overseas. She told me to go buy a tape measure and measure myself. At that point I decided to take my business and my money else where. There is no need for such rudeness. I got another tailor who is just the next block over on 106st (Paris Tailor) to get my zipper fixed and measurements done both for an affordable fee and EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this place.

I took a very expensive dress from Copenhagen to another tailor for repairs as I'd damaged it by attempting to let out some seams. I actually tore through the fabric at 4 points. It was repaired in such an abominable way that Tony the Tailor and staff could not believe it. Tonys mother painstakingly repaired it and it took her hours. My Husband collected it yesterday and it looks as though it had never been damaged. I am delighted and will never go anywhere else for alterations. I have a photo of the damaged dress BEFORE Tonys Mum repaired it. I hope it uploads.

Very convenient late hours on Thursday. I do bulk dry-cleaning of my shirts with them every few weeks and it's great how they remember my name and what I like (and don't like). If you want quality, and an honest and expert opinion, come here.
